• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Start up after storage

Anybody using the wide open throttle method to get some oil to the upper end after winter storage? Just curious.

    Would like to Shine!

You're Welcome. This stuff is relatively unknown in the wax world. It's more of a wax/sealant that literally seals in the shine. Use a very small amount, as they say too much will streak. I've tried lots of waxes, and never seen anything to equal the durability of this stuff. Smells good, too!

    Would like to Shine!

Last year at the Maggie Rally, I met a lovely lady who was wiping her F3 off, and asked her what she used. She said F-11 topcoat. I took her over to my RT Ltd and told her to run her nails over it. She was amazed and asked what was on there. I use a product called COLLINITE 845. It was...

    I know its me but......

Am pleasantly surprised this thread I started is still pulling comments. My initial post was to see if I could somehow cancel the "feeling" of the sideways g-force we experience when we corner. 50 years on two wheels, and must admit I never felt those foces before. Now I realize we will never...

    New RT

Welcome, Barender! When the spring comes, get'cha up here to the Blue Ridge Pkwy & the Maggie Valley area. Great ridin and lots of twisties to learn how to handle that beast. I have the Oxford Blue Ltd in the dark version.

    I know its me but......

Haven't been on for awhile. Thanks, Realtor, and all who responded to my thread. I just want to reiterate that my "problem" was just the FEELING of the G forces we encounter when we go into a turn. I've done all the steps, and FOR ME, when I go into a turn, I pull the inside bar, inside knee...

    I know its me but......

Thanks for your input, Idaho. I do understand the principles of vector algebra, as I am one of those "analytical" guys who seem to figure out the reasons for why things do what they do. As I said a few times, I know it is all in my noggin. And I AM getting better. Yesterday I rode through...

    I know its me but......

Many thanks to all who responded. Was up on the Blue Ridge today and did pretty well. Seem to like left turns more than right. I'll get there.(May be late, but I'll get there.) Hope to see you ALL in Maggie-Al

BTW, does anybody know if I can bring my leashed dog to the rally?

    I know its me but......

Sorry, but that passenger is glued to that seat! She loves it back there and has no trouble leaning/ holding on. We are both very relaxed when we ride- just slow in curves. Thanks-Al

    I know its me but......

Thanks, Peter. I have heard that you should push with outside hand, pull with inside, don't pull, don't push etc. Guess it's who is telling you what works for them. As I stated at first, I don't have any trouble making the turn, or even maintaining it through the curve. It's doing it at the...

    I know its me but......

Thanks, Ron. I agree that your bar MAY help, but I'm too new to this . I know a stock RT will take ANY curve or corner at the posted speed. It's the rider (me) that makes the difference. I'll probably get your swaybar in the future. BTW, I'm the guy bugging you for the oil filters to bring...

    I know its me but......

Thanks for responding, AR. I know it'll take more miles, and am not using a death grip at all. I'm very at ease just cruising along and relaxed. Have my lady on the back and really enjoy the ride and everything about the Spyder. Came from 50 years on two wheels, and if not for a couple...

    I know its me but......

Sorry for bringing up a beat-to-death subject, but Help! 2019 RT 900 miles so far. It just can't get comfortable in curves. I have read and practiced ALL the tips from everyone ( lean in weight on outside foot, push instead of pull, look ahead.) Believe me, I WANT to love this thing and my...
