• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this Service Contract worth it? Any advice?

Ya'all have made me see the light...BEST warranty ( I was gonna do anyway) and forget the rest. The "lifetime" oil changes probably don't make that much sense at my age...maybe if I was younger....sigh.... But I really don't think I can do oil changes myself.:gaah:

Is this Service Contract worth it? Any advice?

I've decided (with everyone's help & input) to pass on the so called service contract...way too much $ and valid concerns about losing a lot of dinero if the dealer goes out of business (it's a dealership only plan). Gonna go with the other dealer's "Lube for Life" ...seems like a fair deal for...

Is this Service Contract worth it? Any advice?

That's exactly the way I'm thinking. Yes, I'll be keeping the Spyder for a long time; I do have a 2 yr window to buy the B.E.S.T. warranty since it's a 2022 model. In the meantime, maintenance is pretty doggone important. I was taught long ago that oil changes are vital for any engine; the...

Is this Service Contract worth it? Any advice?

update: not too much better, but now the dealership is quoting a price of $2600. includes all parts & labor for 3 yrs. no matter how often I take the bike in. excludes battery, belts & tires. checked with another dealership (farther away) & they quoted $899 for lifetime oil changes...

Is this Service Contract worth it? Any advice?

Thanks everyone...I felt like $3500 was waaay too high. But please clarify? I've read (somewhere) that the 1st oil change should be done at 600 miles....I'm a little confused about this. Every other [new] bike I've had, 1st change was 600. I live in a rural area & it's a 200 mile round trip...

Is this Service Contract worth it? Any advice?

My dealership is offering a 3 yr service contract (includes non warranty repairs) for $3500. The catch? Has to be bought before the first oil change. Expect to ryde a minimum of 5k to 8k miles a year. Does their price seem reasonable or is it even worth it? I'm not sure about doing oil...

What are the frunk & trunk weight limits?

Sorry, I wasn't too clear....if I tie down the roller bag, it will be empty....bowling balls in frunk & trunk! Really not sure I could lift a loaded bag onto the seat.

What are the frunk & trunk weight limits?

Thanks for the replies. Didn't know about the weight stickers :opps: I figure a roller bag can be tied down to the passenger seat. If not, I'll just fold up the soft carry bag & use it to keep stuff from moving around.

What are the frunk & trunk weight limits?

Just bought 2022 F3L :ohyea: What is a reasonable weight limit for the frunk & trunk? Asking 'cuz I would like to go bowling & take my (bowling) balls in the spyder. Size wise they will fit, but not sure about the weight. We're talking 3 - 14lb balls. Of course I'll make sure they don't...

Utter frustration - are dealers taking advantage of shortages?!?

Been looking for an F3L for awhile now. (2017 to new). Thought I found a new 2021; emailed dealer to see if it was still available. Yeay...yes available...for $31000. + T Seems like some price gouging happening...taking advantage of supply shortages. Am I wrong? Can't do 2 wheels anymore...
