• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

998cc Fuel fume smell during ride...thoughts?

Greetings all, I am the happy owner of a new to me 2011 RT SM5 :f_spider:. I have about 1500 miles on it now (just over 18000 total), a mix of I-95 commuting and back road cruising, and a few rides to the beach with my wife (the best part1!). I keep a fuel log, and have averaged about 28...

    Grip Puppies too thick?

I installed Grip Puppies on my 2011 RT yesterday. When I went to start the up while in gear, nothing happened. Turned out that the grips are just thick enough to prevent the clutch being pulled in enough to activate the neutral sensor. A small furniture spacer on the switch fixed that, but...

I have a 2008 V6 bought new in Jan 2009. 109000 miles now with no problems and routine dealer performed services. I had it over in Germany on the autobahn, a daily commuter into DC, and now as an around town for my wife. The accelerator is a little touchy, especially if your used to 4...

Thanks to all for the imagery! Big Sur is on my ride list. Yosemite is on the wife's bucket list. May be a 2fer in the future. I read about riding the Oregon Coast in a back issue of Road Runner, that may become part of the dream.

Is a 2010 RS a good first Spyder?

I'm looking at a 2010 RS SM5 w/ 40,500 miles for sale on Craigslist in Washington DC. Is the owner a Spyderlovers member? If not, is this a good candidate for a first Spyder, assuming all the recall issues are worked and verified by BRP? It has highway pegs, a trunk passenger backrest, and an...
