• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    TricLed Customer Service #1

I'm loving the M109R LE!! Fits me like a glove...nice low saddle height, stable, stable, stable and LOTS of power. On the way back from the dealership after buying the 109, I was following Kathy, on her :spyder2:, going down I-5 towards Portland riding along at or about the 70mph speed limit...

    TricLed Customer Service #1

I have to agree with all that's been said before about Reggy's 100%+ customer service. Back when I actually owned an RT-S I had an issue with one of the fender LED's, he immediately replaced BOTH of them. When I was rear-ended and my LED American Flag was slightly damaged, Reggy, again...

What were you driving 40 years ago (1971)

1971 BMW R60/5 Bought my R60/5 in June of 1971 for a whopping $1,680 brand new!!! Kept it for over 20 years before I sold it in a fit of madness. Sure wish I could redo that mistake!!!

    Iron Butt Association rides

Congratulations on your Iron Butt rides. A lot of people might think we're crazy, but, to quote from the documentation of my 2001 Iron Butt Rally experience, "There is no finer feeling in the world than to be on the road, cruising through the desert early in the morning with the sun to your...

    dave01 question....

This has been an absolutely intriguing thread. I'm in the same boat, Dave, and tomorrow I'll be unloading my RT-S for two wheels. :( I love the Spyder and this move breaks my heart. When I picked up my RT today at the dealership, I talked with the service manager, who, after I mentioned...

    Venting about our Spyder

Having done extensive research prior to committing, I think that your 109R was somewhat similar to my RT-S - a fairly unique problem child....indicative of our particular vehicle, not the species as a whole. (The key word in your post was "1st year they came out".) My RT-S was a 2010 - 1st...

    Venting about our Spyder

As long as everyone maintains a safe distance between themselves and the person in front of them, it really doesn't matter who rides where!!! :bdh: Just maintain your distance and ride safe.:lecturef_smilie::yes: And we will certainly be riding with you and Darrell in the future! You...

    Venting about our Spyder

Throwing in the towel Hey, Guys! I'm so happy for you that you've finally gotten your Spyder to a dealership with a service department that seems to care. Hopefully, this will be the last fix necessary.:pray::pray::pray::pray: On my part, however, I've decided to cut my losses and...

    Am I getting old?

Ya, Bob, I remember way back in 1972, I bought a brand new Ford Pinto Fastback for $1,919 and the year before that, I bought a brand new BMW R60/5 for $1,680 (when Honda 750's were running less than half that price!). While sticker shock will never loose its sting, the sticker price will always...

    Suzuki M109R Questions

Thanks for the feedback, my friend! I'm looking at getting a 2011 model so, hopefully, most of the issues listed would have been dealt with. The M109R certainly can't be any more buggy than my 2010 RT-S that's been in the shop at least three times in the past six weeks due to computer...

    Suzuki M109R Questions

Greetings! I've seen the M109 brought up on occasion here on SpyderLovers and have a question or two for those of you familiar with this beast. Bottom line is this: would you recommend the M109? Is it reliable and "bug-free"? Pro's/Con's? I took one for a test drive today and am seriously...

    Nighty-Night Spydee

I totally agree! Bought my RT-S a year ago last August (13 months ago) and if I only rode when it was sunny and beautiful in the NW I'd only have about 2,300 miles on the RT, instead of over 23,000!!! God bless Frogg Toggs and Gerbings!! Keep in mind, all this is being said with brotherly...

    How many miles

Bought my 2010 RT-S almost exactly 13 months ago and it has just a little over 23,000 miles on it now.

    Picture post!

While attending Street Vibrations this week, I guided my wife, MsKitty, to the Iron Butt Mecca of Gerlach, NV for a fine lunch at Bruno's Country Club and Casino. After lunch, we visited the Iron Butt Association's "Fallen Rider Memorial" a couple of miles out of Gerlach.

    Tires...again!

Well said, my friend! I barely got 11K out of the OEM tire and, like you, I've got over 11K on the Kumho and it hardly shows any wear. I bought mine through TireBuyer.com for under $70 - FEDX'ed free of charge within three days!!! Both my wife's RT-AC and my RT-S have the Kuhmo ASTs on the...

    Front Tire Question

Thanks for the input. I'm really impressed with the wear on the front tires, but that rear tire - that's another story. :cus: You got almost 2,000 more miles on yours than I did on mine....I barely got 11K out of it. But my Kumho Ecsta AST's are still looking good with almost 11K on them...

    Front Tire Question

Thanks to the helpful advise found on this website, I put Kumho Ecsta AST's on the back end of both my wife's Spyder and mine and are very, very pleased with their performance and wear. Now, when the time comes, in which direction should I go for the front two tires? To be honest, the stock...

    Tric Led Spyder Light Package

Your lights look great! I can't praise Reggy and Tric LED enough. Reggy's customer service and products come across at 110%. On my RT-S I have the fender LEDs and on the back end, under the license plate, I have their LED American flag.
