• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Seal Floorboards and heat management

My wife and I both have RT's equipped with Seal Floorboards. They deal quite adequately with the heat on the right side but if you want the most in "heat protection" get the "RT radiator block off plate" from Spyderpops.com. They're relatively inexpensive, highly effective and are a snap to...

    Congrats Romney!!

That's the absolute truth!! I let my wife "test drive" my RT and two weeks later - POOF!!! - we had a second RT in the carport!!! :yikes::gaah::yikes: But it was well worth it - - she put over 12,000 miles on it last year and has a good start going for this year.

    Fuel Gage Question

I TOTALLY agree with this statement. When I took delivery of my new 2012 RT Limited three weeks ago, I made sure that the dealership had (per my request) disconnected those two worthless analog gauges. The digital readouts are FAR more accurate!!!

    GloRyder praises!!!

About a week and a half ago, I ordered a set of white GloRyders for my new 2012 RT Limited. Last Friday, the 11th, I received my set of GloRyders but, unfortunately, they were BLUE - not white. :gaah: Hey! Stuff happens......I immediately emailed them and explained the situation that, while...

Why does'nt BRP fix the RT turn signal return ?

With all due respect, this thread has nothing to do with nitpicking the Spyder or BRP. This is a serious safety issue that's been around for a long, long time and BRP (and it's dealers) have been consistently ignoring (perhaps hoping it would go away). I had a 2010 RT-S that would take an...

    Security System Question

I'm thinking about getting a security system installed on my new 2012 RT Limited. I'm looking for good leads. I've gone into two different business' and they gave me two entirely different recommendations. One said to steer clear of the proximity systems and the other said to go with it...

Spyder RT Limited or Harley Davidson Triglide

I totally agree with you, however, I just picked up my second RT last weekend. I had a 2010 RT-S for a little over 13 months and it was, indeed, buggier than a termite hill (with the turn signal issues you refer to). It would appear that BRP does, in fact, listen to the consumer because with...

    Seal Floorboards

Greetings! John happens to be a very close, personal friend of mine and he is as trustworthy as they come - as is the product he sells. I, too, had a 2010 RT (with the floorboards, which I loved) but unfortunately it's computer )and related technology) was either made (1) on a late Friday...

    Returning from the Dark Side!

Greetings, Spyderlovers! Last year I'd finally had enough of my 2010 and its computer bugs. On October 8th, I traded it in for a Suzuki M109R LE. In the almost seven months that I've owned it, it has performed flawlessly.....I love it!!! Unfortunately, the arthritis in my right hand is...

    Back lights for RT limited

Try the TricLED American Flag (http://www.tricled.com/). It's a 4"X6" LED American Flag that goes right below your license plate. It's extremely bright and eye catching........looks GREAT!!! (and makes a statement, too!!)

    BRP not talking

I totally agree with you there! I decided to cut my losses and throw in the towel, too. :dontknow: Back on October 8th of last year, I rode up to Pro Caliber in Longview with my RT-S and RT-622 trailer - not be be serviced, but to actually trade them in on another vehicle that will be a...
