• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Front end shudder

Rotors As promised I am reporting on the results. I had the rotors changed and the front end shuddering with firm stopping has ceased. All bushings were checked and there were no defects. I ordered EBC rotors and pads from Bajaron and I can attest that the brakes simply work better. While at...

    Front end shudder

Warped Rotorsshowed both rotors were warped. Just heard back from the shop manager and he told me that I have warped rotors. The application of a micrometer showed that both rotors were warped. called Bajaron and ordered new pads and rotors and he has always been speedy with delivery so I...

    Front end shudder

Braking Not standing on the brakes. Traveling at 55/45 mph and stoping the bike with "reasonable" brake pressure. As the bike slows and the braking pressure is lessened, the shuddering cesses and the bike come to a stop. I have taken the F3SE to Mike's Powersports here in Reno NV. I had the...

    Front end shudder

Thanks for the suggestions and I tried turning the handle bar and did not feel any slop. I also did the tire push pull and all seemed stable. Will remove the rotors and see if there is any warping (Blueknight paper procedure). this will take me a while because of other comiments right now, BUT...

    Squared Away the best

Big thanks to Joe and Ann from Squared Away. I was aware that they would be attending the Nor Cal Spyder Rally and I emailed Joe to see if they would install some LED lights on my 2015 F3S. Joe responded with "just make an appointment at the rally". So when I arrive and approached Joe I detected...

    Front end shudder

A arms Thanks for your response. Since I have replaced the tires, I suspect that there is another cause to the shuddering up front. The bike performs normally at all speeds, no wandering and no vague steering. The shuddering only occurs with "firm" braking. I really do not feel any abnormal...

    Front end shudder

New tireasin March Thanks for all the responses. i replaced the Kendra's in March with Hankook Ventus 4 and they have about 4300 miles on them. I suppose that I could have a faulty tire, but when I inspect them they look ok to me.

    Front end shudder

Thanks Thanks for the response and I will give your procedure a try. The shuddering seems to be getting worse. So much so that you can see the fenders bob up and down as you brake. I do not feel any pulsating on the brake pedal and I wonder if I have something loose on the steering, frame, or...

    Just returned

Just returned from the Spyder Nor Cal Rally in Tuolumne Calif put on by the Sacramento Chapter. I have been to many motorcycle rallies and this one is the best. It was well organized, the venue was perfect and the riding is some of the best in the world. It is by far the friendliest Rally Jan...

    Front end shudder

I have a 2015 F3SE with 13,000 miles. On our last trip when I applied the brake from a "healthy" deacceleration at 60 mph the front tires shudder and shake. Is this a sign of warped rotors or should I be looking elsewhere for the problem. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Adjusting Handlebar Angle on F3-T?

Lowering issue Just be careful when you lower your bars. As mentioned previously, make sure the bars have clearance over the tank and make sure that IF YOU ADD some thing to the bars at a later date that it does not hit your key. On our 2015 F3S after I lowered the bars I added a phone holder...

    No longer a lurker.....

Also had a 2010 C-14. Loved that bike, but hip and knee surgery made two up touring problematic. My wife, a previous two wheeler, wanted to stop being a passenger so we bought a F3S. While not having her on the back of the C-14 made the handling much more manageable, I decided to join her with a...

F-3 Parking Brake does not realease

Back on the road It appears that the sticky parking brake has fixed itself. We are back on the road going down the Oregon coast. Made several stops and the brake released every time. We had two incidents were the brake did not release immediately. The first incident was on the ferry from Saltry...

F-3 Parking Brake does not realease

Thanks. I did find that there is a Can Am dealer here in Portland OR. Will try releasing the brake again in the morning. Not sure what direction to take if it does release. Go to the dealer or try to make it home in Calif. From previous posts it may be the switch.

F-3 Parking Brake does not realease

Parking brake won't release On a trip and a 800 miles from home and the parking brake on our 2015 F3SE will not release. I have read all the recent posts regarding this issue, but there does not seem to be a "on the road" solution to fix the problem. Stuck in the parking lot in Portland Oregon...
