• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This fell off my bike. Anybody recognize it?

Hans from Hella replied. How's this for double confirmation - he sent this picture.

    Umm.. Oops. yeah - it's an F3T.

Tool to remove those @#!!& plastic pegs?

So those grumble-grumble plastic pegs all over the bike are a real pain. I was using the tip of my pocket knife to pry the center peg up until I jammed my knife tip under my finger nail. A screwdriver works but it doesn't grip well and I end up almost beheadng the fastener. Is there a good...

    Moving the passenger pegs outward

My wife says she'd like another two inches for her feet to be apart. She's being nice because the real problem is the husband in front of her that has a wide butt. Still - anybody have a good, safe method for pushing the rear boards out about 2" each? -B

This fell off my bike. Anybody recognize it?

Billybovine pegged it, I think and Lamonster's video confirmed it, I hope. If you watch carefully... I'll have to dig into it either an evening or, more likely, this weekend early when it's still cool. UPDATE: Circled another after looking at Billybovine's diagram.

This fell off my bike. Anybody recognize it?

My magnifying glass failed to reveal details but my lovely wife suggested I use my camera. Apparently it has more pixels than my eyes 'cause here it is. As you might be able to see, it says "Hella". It's something to do with lighting. I've emailed the Hella company and asked what this...

WELL I HAD A FIRST YESTERDAY MORNING

I took out a bird one in Wyoming while riding my Vulcan. Hit my knee and tumbled off into the distance.

This fell off my bike. Anybody recognize it?

This fell off my F3-T while I was under it replacing the sway bar. Any idea what this cap is supposed to cover? It seems to have a barbed tab to, perhaps, grip some sort of clip and the other half is filled with some sort of porous sponge stuff.

    Spider Jenga Anyone?

The bike lift raised the back wheel, too, so I blocked it up. Seemed like it would be easier to keep the frame level. For what it's worth, the 20-22" rule for replacing the sway bar with the BajaRon version is real - at least on the F3T. It has to pivot downward and slide out and needs that...

    Spider Jenga Anyone?

The trouble I went through to get the machine high enough to replace the sway bar and add the bump-skid.

Accessory 12V Plug on the F3

Turn the ring around the keyhole counter-clockwise about a eighth of a turn then lift out. Wiggle the plate and it'll lift off. It'll have two wires clipped to the hole plugs. Sent from my LG-H901 using Tapatalk

    2016 USB Fault

Me Too. Just a note that it's happening to me, too, on my mini-usb stick. It's probably not USB 3.0, I'm too cheap for that and it's overkill anyway for a music stick. I'll try the extension cable thing. Thanks!

Sneak peak at the production R.I.P boards

What's your price point, do you think (install from vanilla frame)? I have some Web-boards on the way but yours look more interesting.

Jacket or No Jacket in Hot Weather - Which is Cooler?

The last time I was dropping south from Yellowstone in July (August?) I was crossing the wastlands that are central Wyoming. It was probably 100 degrees air temp plus sun and reflection from the asphalt. Those days I was riding with my denim jacket and I took it off because I thought it was...

    Torx: English or Metric?

Mertric hex I'm good with - I'm coming from a Kawisaki. What range of Torx, then? Seems to be small sets and big ones.

    Torx: English or Metric?

Hmm. After being on Sear's site, there doesn't seem to be such thing as an English Torx set.
