• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryker Helmet Storage Bag Kit, 219400765

Interesting thread. I don't understand the question, or the answer. :chat:

Wait.... So this isn't how you enable the connection to Skynet?

Age of riders buying a Ryker

Generally refers to things added that are a blend of "Functional" and "Sparkly", aka Farkle. Some of what I'm seeing added out there isn't even really any degree of functional (like colored "glow" lighting under the bike).

That's very helpful. Really appreciate you checking.

Ryker 900 ACE New Owner Thoughts & Ramblings

Does anyone who has the "short rail" passenger back rest or the tall folding backrest happen to be able to give a measurement from the top back of the passenger seat to the top of the backrest? Can't seem to find actual measurements anywhere. Went to check at the dealer today, but they were out...

Starting to smell like a group ride in the making.

    Seat cover

I hadn't really considered it, but I guess that's why they made this double as a seat cover... https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/shop/ryker-accessories/cargo-storage/cargo-bags-accessories/helmet-bag.html

Much rather change spark plugs on the Ryker than a f3

Hello fellow Roanoker.... Drove past Star City to purchase my Ryker from Virgin Naff as well. Great people to work with, and went well out of their way to help me out! Absolutely worth the drive (plus it made for a nice first ride home).

Parking Brake Lock for North American Rykers

I've seen this too (as well as some discussion on the topic). Am I the only one not really concerned? I mean, unless you know the machines, who would even know that lever is a parking brake? A true "thief" is going to get what they want regardless, and someone "messing around" would likely not...

    500 Mile Check Up

Maybe its just me, but I'm not a big fan of using private label / re-branded oils... :dontknow:

    500 Mile Check Up

+1 to this. Also doesn't hurt to snap a quick picture or video while the oil is draining or whatever "just in case" its needed. Pic of receipt for oil / filter / any other items replaced, pic doing the job, good to go.

    500 Mile Check Up

I plan on going with what is in the manual. First maintenance at 1 year or 6k miles, whichever comes first. I've not seen any reference to a 500 mile service anywhere.

Ryker 900 ACE New Owner Thoughts & Ramblings

Bouncing back and forth a bit on the passenger backrest. Anyone who rides 2-up and has a backrest that can share their thoughts / experience with either? She's leaning toward the short and thinks it would be plenty, I'm leaning toward the tall just for my own piece of mind when she's on the...

Age of riders buying a Ryker

42 here. Been riding dirt bikes since before driving age, and on 2 wheel street bikes as soon as I could get my MC endorsement... Haven't parted with my 2 wheel ride and still do track days as well, but couldn't pass up the Ryker.

Sat nav - how does it wire up on a Ryker?

I typically use the cell phone (if needed) for navigation with voice prompts through the Sena headset. IF I feel I need the screen, just put it on a RAM mount instead of leaving it in pocket. I can't personally see a need for a dedicated GPS at this point. There are apps like "Here" that if I...

    Ryker Warranty!

Out of curiosity, did you guys have to do anything special to register the warranty? My dealer had a preordered unit that the original purchaser never picked up so I ended up with the benefit of having the extra year of B.E.S.T. on my purchase. I never thought to ask if I needed to do anything...

    Ryker Warranty!

I can't think of any reason to worry about that. If they were seeing problems this soon it would either manifest in a recall (if severe / widespread enough) to correct the issue, service bulletins, or unexpected warrantee work in the first year. These haven't been out nearly long enough to be...

Ryker 900 ACE New Owner Thoughts & Ramblings

I can complain a bit if you'd like. Complaint #1 - How on earth.... do they expect the rear tire to last any substantial amount of time when you're having so much fun sliding and spinning it in Sport mode? Complaint #2 - How can I be expected to "act my age" on this machine when in Sport...

Ryker 900 ACE New Owner Thoughts & Ramblings

Given that I decided on the Ryker 900 ACE, I thought I'd take a minute and toss out my thoughts after the first day of ownership. I'll update if appropriate as time goes on. After bouncing back and forth between this one and the Rally (Thread here...
