• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Opinions of comfort seat

Thank you for your reply. I was also worries because if that's a case i'd rather get something which my butt will thank me for and so will my back. I want to take a trip from NY - FL and my upper back starts hurting after an hour so I want to make sure I am all ready and prepared for it and...

Thank you so much for taking the time out and replying. I was going to go ahead and get a new t30 Allan key set anyway since i didn't like the factory one. And it's so funny you spoke about the parking brake. My parking bake is so lose so thank you for that advice. I order the tire repair...

    Opinions of comfort seat

I have gentleman over here on the forum selling a pristine comfort seat but I'm also worried about how my butt will feel against it and will I hate it or not. I have called a couple of dealers and none of them have it so my question is how do I try one and see if it fits me well? Also if a...

Need a 'Necessary Tools' list - any ideas?

Good news. I finally got access to the bike and I did find the original tool kit that came with the bike. With that said there is no bikini ( as my friend called it) looking tool for the nut. Attaching the picture of the bolt. So i'll just have to order the tool provided in the link then.

Thank you. That is some solid advice. I don't know how to read a multi meter (but now would be a good time to learn).

Need a 'Necessary Tools' list - any ideas?

Thank you all for the valuable feedback. I'm trying to get access to my bike so that I can see what's in there (from what I remember seeing it in there). If this is the case then I won't have to remove the panels in case I need to charge the battery if it does die. Thank you so much, now I...

Need a 'Necessary Tools' list - any ideas?

Hello All, First of all I'd like to apologize for this SUPER basic question. As some of you might know I recently picked up at 2009 GS. With that being said i'm completely ignorant on what I need for my tool case in case of emergency (don't have any in the ftrunk) I am also worried becuase I...

    Concerns as a private seller

Man if I had only known. But the gentleman I bought was from a life saver to trust me with his plates. I was also kinda nervous taking that much cash across state lines (Civil Forfeiture) . The only problem was I went on a long weekend (due to work) but honestly for future that is good to know...

    Concerns as a private seller

I just bought my can am from a gentleman in NH. I got there with my car gave them my drivers license showed him I had cash on hand. He took out his bike and I got on the can am. I just followed him around to get a feel of the bike. I went with my cousin so he was at the house and especially we...

    Heat question

Wait this was only an issue for me when i was riding in slippers :opps:. Don't judge don't judge. If I ride with proper boots / jeans I have no issue what so ever. So i guess I shouldn't need the air management just common sense then :roflblack:

    Storage Suggestions If No Garage...

Is that big enough for the can am. I'm having the same issue. We have a driveway landlord won't allow for a shed so I'm looking for options of cover but the bike barn looks AMAZING!

    Heat question

Thank you for asking this question. I also noticed this as an issue on my 2009 spyder. I'm on this like white on RICE. Also Do I need both GS/RS Missing Air damn and Air management system or what?

It's HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2009 CAN AM SPYDER GS

That's a good idea. I haven't tried to unclip them to see how they look. If it still looks sporty then it might just be worth keeping them. I'm not sure if i'll be taking alot of out of state trips or not so that's why if i'm only riding around locally then saddlebags don't make much sense.

It's HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2009 CAN AM SPYDER GS

I saw a lot of red color ones but this one fit my budget and I really liked the silver and black color. Also as far as selling the saddle bags it doesn't look so sporty / sexy with it but now the more I think about it it's growing on me! I might just keep it.
