• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Color code of brake light wires....

I have a 2016 F3T that I have the connector undone on one side at the rear near the taillights. I'm trying to tap into the ground and the brake light wire. I tried a test light at the connecter but seems it did not make contact with connectors. What is the color of ground and the color of the...

    I'm thinking about new shocks

Is this the shock only or shock with springs/assembly? Is the set up different for a F3T model? You got it at a rally, where on the 'net? Buckskin

    I'm thinking about new shocks

I'm wondering where and what part number for that set of springs that ran around $100.00. I have 2016 F3T and not sure if the same will work, but a little help as to your source and maybe I can take it from there. Buckskin

    Tried FOBO...didn't like it

If your's quit, try replacing the batteries inside. I see a lot of guys that let the batteries die and don't bother to replace them. Buckskin

    Closeing gas cap

I found that when trying to close the gas cap after fueling that the cap would not close fully and the key could not be released. it was close, but felt like I might break the key off in the cap. I cured this problem by smearing a little vaseline or grease on the rubber seal on the cap. Walla...

    F3-T Poor Radio Reception

I took your advice and went looking for the antenna lead you described. What I found was not what I expected. In my case the lead was secured in place but what else found was a surpsise. Note the picture attached. Yes, it appears to be a cozy mouse's nest... Doesn't appear to have a current...

    Tried FOBO...didn't like it

Pete, I have been reading a number of posts about the FOBO Trike TPMS and now the new Trike 2 TPMS. You seem to be a reasonable guy and have provided a lot of common sense dialogue regarding FOBO. Let me step in here and clear up a few things. First about the T-valve. It works fine on the rear...

    Difficulty in fitting Fobo T-Valve.

Well, I'm a little late to the party, but for those that come across this thread. Here is the answer. That valve stem hole is recessed on most of the CanAm wheels. I use a chrome bolt in 1.25" straight stem for the front. Aside from the guys at the tire shop telling you they could not mount them...

    Question about the Airbag

Why not just order from Lamonster Garage?? They have them in stock now.... Buckskin

    F3T Rear air suspension

I'm curious. What did it take to get the dealer to acknowledge the bag was a leaker? Did they even check the fittings at each end of the bag? I seems maybe the fittings were/are the culprit as to the loss of air? So when you approach the dealer about the possibility of the air bag being a...

    F3T Rear air suspension

The idea of the T-valve is to pretty much leave the sensor alone. Every time you remove it or install it, Pffft and there goes 2 psi. One thing I did with the front wheels is to install the metal bolt in straight stem. The rubber mount is tired and shorter. Plus it will spin a little when you...

    F3T Rear air suspension

Yep for those that never knew, that little needle valve in the valve stem is the Dill valve. Like my daddy used to say...learn something new every day. Buckskin

    Question about the Airbag

I have been running the airbag at about 40-45 psi for a while riding solo. If on a bumpy road where there is a lot of action on the rear shock, it will raise up due to temperature. Sometimes will go RED on the box. If you notice this, you can go into settings and manually override the MIN/MAX...

    F3T Rear air suspension

Hey Chet, looks like you made the change over to the CanAm from the Wings with me. I got the dill valve tool to check that to make sure that is not part of the problem. When I screw on that T-valve it seals up on the bike stem but adds two more dill valves. I'm pretty sure I'm sealed off on the...

    F3T Rear air suspension

That was a mouthful there Pete. As noted below, I'm going to get that fitting at the top out for starters and see if that fixes the leak issue.

    F3T Rear air suspension

Now that is interesting.... You say when you had the rear wheel out during a tire change, but it begs the question, with wheel out, is it pretty obvious how to access and remove the bag and air line etc? Next, obviously the fitting right under the seat can be accessed and that is one fitting but...

    F3T Rear air suspension

Many of you with this model with air suspension may not be aware that riding solo or two up that this suspension leaks down about every 10-14 days. Thus unless you are really anal about your suspension, you are riding around just on the spring itself. This suspension should have on average at...

    Rear wheel valve stem access

90 degree valve stem alternative I have used this valve stem for many years on the GL1800's in lieu of the factory rubber mounted stems that dry rot. For those of you that are using the FOBO Trike TPMS, this is what it's designed for. Mount your sensor on the top stem and add air through the...
