• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Gear chatter in neutral?

    Isn't this the same "pebble grinding" noise another member has experienced early on and had his whole engine replaced by BRP? Mine has done a milder version of that noise from the beginning, when warmed up, in neutral. I think it's fairly common, if it is what I think it is.

    No buyers remorse here.....

    I too have no buyers remorse about my wingless griffon :). Although if I bought it now instead of 3.5 months ago, I would have paid over $2100 less than I did (from the same dealership). Oh well, I'll call it a $20/day rental fee ;).

    Ha ha, good point but I bet they didn't usually have insane 2-hour-long bumper to bumper traffic jams in 1975! ;) New clutches are typically fairly easy to pull but the F3 one can get tiring after an hour of stop and go.

    BRP's swing-arm-mounted hitches make sense to me but of course they don't make them for the regular F3. It seems like all the aftermarket ones are frame mounted. If I was to have one designed and fabricated, which style would be better?

    I have always been one to stay far away from first-model-year anything, due to typically not being able to get a discount; poor aftermarket support; various bugs not having been worked out yet, etc. I usually wait until something has been in production for at least 3 years, then I feel ok...
