• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Easyrider Biker Rodeo... Musings of a Milquetoast

Easyrider rodeo reprise My wife and I drove by the fairgrounds on the way home tonight. From the main road all you can see are cornfields. Then we saw the light board sign at the entrance and cracked up. No below the waist nudity allowed...

Easyrider Biker Rodeo... Musings of a Milquetoast

I used to be a telephone company engineer. The telephone techs would come up with excuses to go to the fairgrounds to check the payphone trailer in the " no holds barred zone" if you catch my drift. You had to have a pass to get in there. Among other things they have bands, bar stool races...

Easyrider Biker Rodeo... Musings of a Milquetoast

The Easyrider Biker Rodeo is going on at the fairgrounds near my hometown of Chillicothe Ohio. It lasts through Labor Day. The town is awash in all sizes and shapes of "bikers". I put that in quotation marks because I am amused by the various Biker types. There are the average Joes who are out...

PEOPLE OVER 35 SHOULD BE DEAD...

Mountain bikes and safety gear? We would go down to the " bottoms" by the river and ride our bikes over every path we could find. These were ordinary Schwinns and Huffys not your fancy Mountain bikes. No helmets or safety gear of any kind. Some of the dare devil stuff we did as kids would...

Brake Lights stay on (2013 Spyder ST Limited)...

I remember demo riding an ST-limited in May. The ride leader said I was riding the brake the whole time I rode... I wasn't.

All jokes aside, is this viable?

Is it more a removal of the air box or the air flow provided by the fan? Again, this will be intriguing to follow. Keep us posted.

All jokes aside, is this viable?

Moving some air under the skin This sounds like some really good news!. From other posts I know people have wanted to do this and see what the results are. Keep us posted as you get more time on this mod. Can you record some before and after temp readings? Maybe this will be a catalyst for...

All jokes aside, is this viable?

Please let us know how this turns out. Maybe I'm thick headed, but I think this may be part of the solution... if or when BRP comes up with a permanent solution. The 2014's may clue us all in on airflow changes through the Tupperware.:popcorn::popcorn: Does your RT have the fog...

    Spyder Pricing and possible competiton

Maturing as a product line I believe the Spyder line will be the benchmark for coming competition. Spyders ARE getting better. BRP is going through the same developmental pains with the Spyder as Honda did with the Wing. The Wing has been in production since 75. They have had 38+ years to...

    Spyder Pricing and possible competiton

Elio vs Spyder I can't really compare an Elio to a Spyder other than they both have a reverse three wheeled stance. An Elio, to me, is more of a cool commuter (ie car) vehicle. A spyder has more of of an open air motorcycle feel to it, which appeals to me more. Regarding the the pricing...

    Spyder Pricing and possible competiton

:agree: I remember looking at Goldwing trikes a couple of years ago. Ironically at the same dealership where they sell Can Am Spyders (Honda Suzuki of Jackson Ohio), they sell Goldwing trikes. I believe they were Lehman conversions. They were $35000-$40000. :yikes: They are sweet but they are...

It will be interesting to see how the Elio plays out. I would like to see it succeed. Right now it doesn't look too promising.

    Spyder Pricing and possible competiton

With possible competition waiting in the wings, i.e. Arctic Cat, Polaris, Honda, et al, do you think that BRP would lower the cost of its Spyder line? I don't need to state that Spyders are expensive. Do you think the competition could bring a lower price point to the table? I realize that...

ASK in Columbus only has two ST's left for 2013

I talked to Mr. Ackers today at the Lancaster Ackers Suzuki Kawasaki. He said that he only had two ST's left for 2013. They were a black currant St Limited at the Grove city store and a white ST Limited at the Brice Road store. Ironically, he had two yellow RT-S's that were designated Demos for...
