• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Rykers Require 87 Octane - Not 92!

Use what ever octane that gives you the performance you are happy with. It costs me another $2.50 to fill my Ryker 600 tank with premium. Whether it is perceived better performance or not, I feel better about it and it's my penny saved or not. My last tank of premium got me 183 miles when the...

Day trip at freeway speeds on a 600.

My experience with my 600 ACE running at 70mph the RPMs were between 6000-6200. That's more than a 1000 RPMs below the RPMs for max horsepower. In my mind running at 70mph for extended periods should not be a problem. From: https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/ryker/recreational/ryker.html BORE &...

Day trip at freeway speeds on a 600.

The max Horsepower for the 600 is 47 at 7300 RPMs. I would imagine you could run all day at 1000 RPMs below the max horsepower setting.

    I am ready for touring...

I've been looking about doing the same thing. Just curious why you mounted on right side. Unless you have a throttle lock you won't be able to use the bottle of (fill in the blank) unless you are stopped. If you mounted on the left side you could take a drink while still moving. Am I missing...

Question for the suspension gurus out there

I've lowered the psi to 20 psi in the front (label for the 600 says 25 psi in the front). Regarding alignment, it seems to track straight and true at lower speeds.

Question for the suspension gurus out there

Will upgrading my 600 front suspension improve the stability at highway speeds 55mph and up? I don't expect to go down the road like my HD TriGlide, but I would like to be able to relax the death grip I have now going down the road.

    Miles to empty accuracy

Cycle through the display until you see the "Autonomy" option. That is "Miles to Empty". I like the idea of carrying a small amount of gas with me.

    Miles to empty accuracy

How dependable is it to rely on the miles to empty (Autonomy) display. Reason I ask is when I filled up last I reset my trip odometer. I've rode 118 miles since then and my Miles-to-empty reads 110 miles. That would be a range of 228 miles on a tank and 43.18 mpg. From what I've read in forums...
