• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Helmet radios

We are thinking of getting radios to make talking easier. Any suggestions? Are there any that can be powered by the bike. How are they attached? I know nothing about doing this.

tune up I just got a message suggesting that toe may be something to consider. Guess I may take a closer look at the suspension geometry. You do not need a laser to properly adjust a suspension.

    feeling unstable

We had a great ride yesterday! But I have to admit that I still feel some uneasiness when cornering with the Spyder. I'm much more secure on my 2 wheeler Shadow in the corners. I've ridden the Spyder enough now that I would hope that this feeling would have gone away. I end up cornering way...

    Hand Brake

Brake There will be a lot of R&D time to come up with a properly functioning hand brake...which is why I have put this on the back burner. But I've spent most of my life designing and building race and street one off cars...so I have little doubt that I can come with a workable design. But do...

    Trailer

trailer I bought the aluminum trailer from Amazon but it came from Northern for $425. No tax or shipping. I tried to find a cargo box the I felt would be tough enough but ended up building one out high quality ply. Not very fancy and I would still buy a cargo box if I could find a really...

    Hand Brake

I think I will start work on designing a hand brake for my RTs. I had talked about this right after I bought the bike. Is there anything already on the market that I can look at? No need to re-invent the wheel.

    muffler

I just ordered the Lemonster replacement pipe for my 2014 RTs. It comes with a baffle that may or may not be inserted. I don't want a really "Harley" loud bike. What will I get with it out? I guess I will just have to try it and see. I'll try with it out first. Just thought I would ask...

    make it sound better

Is there an easy way to make the RTs sound more like a cycle without spending a lot of money on a whole new exhaust system? I don't like really loud bikes but this RT sounds like a Singer sewing machine! I'm sure many owners have dealt with this.

    My homebuilt trailer

small leaf spring I'm not quite following you. Do you mean the smallest leaf on the spring...to reduce the stiffness? I'll keep that in mind as I test it out.

    My homebuilt trailer

weight of trailer I have not weighed them...but the axle is well behind center so sway should not be a problem. I will load front heavy which will aid in tracking. I put a small spoiler on the back which will help with lift. I'll report on ride after I try it out tomorrow. I have much...

    My homebuilt trailer

Here is my home built trailer. I have just over $600 in the material. 48" x 40" ply box on an Al trailer. I have 3 water proof box that are a good fit. It's kind of crude but good for the cost.

    Trailer light wirring

I plan to attempt the trailer wiring job today. Wish me luck! The trailer is done. It is an AL 40"x 48" bed size with a basic plywood box. Not fancy but it will carry a lot. Anxious about how it tows. I'v built 100s of trailers but never one for a cycle.
