• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ryder Clips Shift Sock

Need a little help. I ordered and received my Shift Sock today. I managed to stretch it and get in onto my shift lever, however, I can't quite manage to get the zipper zipped up. Does anyone else have one of these? If so, could you zip up the zipper? By the way, www.ryderclips.com shipped...

    now its Billy Mays

I saw that! Wonder if it was from getting hit on the head during that airplane landing? I also just read on line that Gail Storm died today, 87 years old. You guys are probably too young to remember her, but she was very popular on t.v. way back in the stone ages. "My Little Margie" and...

    New 3/4" helmet

I got my new Blade helmet yesterday (6/16), one day earlier than promised. Got a chance to wear it today for a couple of hours and really like it so far. The fit is good, the padding is good, looks pretty good for a 3/4 helmet (my other helmet is a Harley half helmet). It's not too heavy...

    Oh My Aching Butt...

I have the Corbin and absolutely LOVE IT! I had awful tailbone issues with the stock seat, and the Corbin eliminated all BUTT problems immediately, from Day 1. It was tough for me to part with the $$$, but I'm so glad I did! GO CORBIN!!!

    Kaoko Throttle Lock

I got my Kaoko Throttle Lock from Black Dog Cycle Works - www.blackdogcw.com . I didn't post this info earlier because I knew NMN was selling them. I couldn't find it on NMN's website either, so started a search. It was $110 plus shipping. Fast shipping and great customer service. I...

Anyone NOT happy with NMN risers

I have the 4" risers and LOVE them! Much more comfortable riding position for me. However, after my husband installed the risers, I had a perfect view in my mirrors of my gloved hands! Over the winter, he custom made mirror extension which brought my mirrors out and up a bit -- PERFECT...

    Rain gear...

You might call FroggTogg and see what the warranty is. Maybe they'll take these back and send you a new set. Our original 2 sets of FroggToggs leaked in some places. We called them, they said to send them back, and they sent us 2 new sets. It's worth a phone call, you never know! We also...

    Kaoko Throttle Lock

After much thought and lots of reading on this forum, I ordered my Kaoko Throttle Lock today. Should have it this Friday. I have a Throttle Rocker and it helps a LOT, but still wanted a way to lessen the numbness on long stretches. Think the Kaoko will be a good fit for me. Any tips on...

    caused a wreck yesterday.......

People are nuts! A couple of weeks ago, my husband (on his Harley) and I (on my Spyder) were crossing the Jefferson Barracks Bridge from Illinois back into Missouri. We were in the slow lane, doing about 60 mph. I noticed a car on my left side, pacing me. I figured the passenger was...

    Vista "Cruise Control" Throttle Lock

I'm going to order either a Vista Cruise Control or a Throttle Mate -- like the lower cost for both. I understand from reading this form that the stock handlebar is 7/8" - correct? Can either throttle lock be installed with the stock grips? Could someone who has the Vista respond and tell...

    Service Manual

We bought the 2008-2009 "official" service manual from our local dealer. It cost $141 :yikes:, HOWEVER, it has paid for itself already, and we just bought my Spyder last October. The manual has 578 pages, and there are schematics in a pocket in the back of the manual. BTW, as a...
