• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As a final note, I am sorry if I have offended anyone. I'll not comment on this subject again

    Warranty disappointment

:popcorn:Wow! I continue to be impressed by the loyalty of the Spyder community. I just based my comments about the Spyder in comparison with all the other bikes I have owned over the 60+ years I have been riding. When all is said and done, I still have little confidence in the...

    Warranty disappointment

I long for the reliability of the Japanese equipment. Never have I seen such a parade of horrors that the Spyder presents.

Update done well worth getting done!

I have done the cannister removal trick and the bike runs just fine, thank you. Will not be having the second update done. Bike is strong and responsive. If it ain't broke dont fix it!

    BumbleBee's RT-S PE

I continue to be impressed with the loyalty of the Spyder riders. However, with all the unresolved issues with the original production run of SM and SEs, I cannot imagine putting money down on the new RT that is still in pre-production mode. In more than 60 years of riding, I have less...

    Oil Change

There is a step by step "How To" posting on the How To Forum. Get the filter from the dealer's parts dept., Get 4 quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic motorcycle oil from a local shop and go for it. Don't sweat getting a new O ring or crush washers. I am still using the original O ring and washers for...

Blog-Rode from Maryland to East TN and then went for a ride today

Great write-up Lamont! Glad you got home OK. While I can appreciate the weather capabilities of the RT, I just don't care for all the protective plastic. But then again I only do 250 mile days now and no more long haul . (Fl to ME in 2 days) Took the Spyder out today and she ran like a charm...

    RT Pricing

I bought the original Spyder, PE #600 for the $14995 PLUS TAX, TAG TITLE ETC. Put the deposit down in March, 2007 and took delivery in December, 2007. I was entranced by the looks of the rig. Sort of like a mini space ship. Totally unique. The new RT doesn't ring my bell at all. I am not a...

    Update to the Update

My dealer also told me that there was nothing BRP could do re the surging and that I would just have to live with it. The canisterectomy fixed it up just fine, thank you.

    New Spyder seat

Have the Comfort Seat on. Lots better, but I need to put the NNM risers on so that the bars come back a little further. That way I will be sitting right in the bucket. Never did get the locking pin to come within a row of axxholes of the latch. Took the locking pin off. Slapped on a piece of...
