• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Soon to start a massive audio project on my RT

I am hooking into the front and rear speaker outs. Normally I would have a powered active line level adapter. But here is where the JL (and some others) shine. I can run line level into the RCA inputs and the amp has a input adjustment just for this. I have found the active line level to give me...

Soon to start a massive audio project on my RT

The JL Marine M770 White speakers y'all saw in one of the earlier post were not used. I went with the Memphis 6.5" and the Memphis 4" speakers and couldn't be happier. On the downside I now have a set of JL Marine M770 speakers and a set of polished aluminum deck mounting brackets totaling...

Soon to start a massive audio project on my RT

I went with a sealed box and to my amazement it doesn't really rattle the spyder. I shakes the frunk hood but in a wicked way. the little aluminum barrel that is on the hood that goes into the latch was the only thing rattling bad. I took car of that with some skillfully placed gorilla tape. It...

Soon to start a massive audio project on my RT

I have modified a pair of Harley speaker adapters. This allowed me to use the 6 1/2" speaker in the front. It is a tight fit. And you will have to grind half the adapter away. But it will work.

ROAD FORCE BALANCING FOR A SMOOTH RIDE

I have been using Road Force Balancing on all my Mercedes for as long as they have had a Hunter machine in Alabama. It is the nobly way to get a 295mm wide tire and 21" rim balanced. And what I have found over the years is that you will be surprised how many BAD tires are put on cars every day...

Soon to start a massive audio project on my RT

I have decided to keep my 2013 RT so I am going to carry the audio to a whole other level. I will be installing JL marine grade amp and speakers. I will be making the brackets next week to mount the speakers pictured. I already have JL components in all my factory speaker locations. Can anyone...

    horrendous front brakes shreik-squeal

Grind the edges of the pads. Just a smidgen. The sharp 90 degree angle of the pads lightly grazing by the rotors causes the noise on some. It corrected mine immediately. Some would call it beveled. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

BRP owners event is a long way from Alabama. Anyone coming to thunder beach?

Is there anything spyder related that is a little closer to this side of the US coming up? I will be at thunder beach in Panama City from April 30 to May 4th. If anyone sees a fat guy on a Black ST Limited or a White RT Limited it probably will be me. Ill have my wife on back. She still won't...

Thanks for all the nice replies everybody. I also wanted to tell the nice lady in Kansas that called me two times about my ST that I have for sale that I am sorry I didn't get back to her. The timing was terrible on my part. I couldn't even get pictures for her. I was pretty much stuck in the...

I haven't fallen off a cliff. I had to redirect some of my time. I'm back now.

My whole problem revolved around my weight. When I first had surgery I weighed 358 pounds. And most of you know i am not the most compliant patient. As soon as i could walk i went to Deals gap and laid a Ducati diavel over on my knee. It scuffed my knee up pretty good. I have been on this evil...
