• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Disenchanted With BRP Rear tire is A PIECE OF (all you all fill in the blank)

Wonderfully condescending! As a NEWBIE I couldn't possibly have a valid opinion now could I? The fact that I'm amazed that a tyre on a motorcycle of any variety can last anything like 6-10,000 miles must mean I'm an idiot, right? But, hey, why not throw in a reference to, I can only assume you...

    Brake Light Sticking

I had this issue on my 2013 STS. The dealer fixed it by cutting down the bumper that the pedal hits when not being operated. He told me this was an official fix.

Disenchanted With BRP Rear tire is A PIECE OF (all you all fill in the blank)

I'm puzzled by all this tyre chat. I've ridden biked for 30 years and had many, but rear tyres have always been expendable. 1,500 - 2,000 on the back of a Buell 4-5,000 on the front was about standard. Kawasaki GT 550 was 3 or 4 times that, but, to me, that's just what I expect from soft, grippy...

Got my new 2013 ST Limited!

I came to the Spyder from an Outlander so know how you feel. The Spyder throttle is a lot smoother and clutch less harsh so you'll get used to it in no time. My biggest problem was trying to convince myself that it wasn't going to spit me in to the hedge at every corner...it won't, but just...

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

I both emailed and snail-mailed them on 29 April and sent a couple of chasers since. They replied two weeks ago asking for more information. I replied by return and I'm still waiting for their response. Not great! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    6' 2" plus....talk to me

I'm 6'2" and ride a 2013 ST-S. I'm also tetraplegic (quadriplegic in American) so I'm a wee bit stiff (to put it mildly), but I was fairly comfortable except that, not being able to shift my weight around my legs would get stiff. So I added a gel seat pad. It raised the seat about 1" and it's so...

    F3 Bad Attitude

Now, there's where I disagree, that position looks contorted and agonising to me. Clearly, each to their own! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    ISO grips

My ST had these grips too. They came with my left hand throttle/brake conversion. Only thing is, I hate them, big and chunky and give me blisters. And, worst of all they look like they should come with tassels and a pair of weekend warrior (weekday accountant) gay club leather chaps! But, each...

    new key switch ordered

Same issue for my ST. Needed a new ignition switch. Dealer fitted it, but, as you say, they were only allowed 1.5 hours and it took much, much longer. They weren't happy! Now, a slight worry. I have used an IPS since I got the machine. It is very heavy. Does this contribute to the problem...

    Ordered F3

Not so. The red one in the spy shots has a clutch lever.

    The Basic styles of Motorcycles

I've always been a fan of naked muscle bikes, but not, I'm afraid Harley's. So I love the tubular steel frame and exposed engine of the F3. I doubt I could cope with the cruiser style seating position though. But let's see how it goes! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Left-Side Alternative to Right-Hand "Fly By Wire Throttle"

Pictures of my left hand conversion are now on GS Jet Tech's Facebook page (just search GS Jet Tech on Facebook) and you'll see my yellow STS. The only issue I've found with it so far is that trying to change up whilst still holding the throttle open can be a challenge. Sent from my iPad...

2015 F3 - No Camo Pics - Things are looking up!

I've driven a number of Harley cruisers with forward controls and hated every one, but people must like them or they wouldn't build/sell them. Here though, the foot position looks really strained with ankles bent well past 90°. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    brake light stays on

My dealer in the UK told me there's an 'official' fix that simply involves taking a few mm off the rubber bumper that the brake pedal rests on with a Stanley knife. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
