• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

UNBELIEVABLE! Whatever link you sent worked this time -- even though it seemed to be the same link I had been trying to use. Anyway, got the reservations made. Thanks! ;)

    Sheraton Hotel for BRP Event

Am I the only one who didn't get a reservation in time? I tried early this morning and it says hotel is booked. :dontknow: Anyone else out there trying to get reservations somewhere else?? If so, please provide info. I can't believe I had this date on my calendar, getting up in the...

Red Carpet Event, What to wear?

I sure hope it isn't an issue as we are riding from TN and back, camping most of the time. Riding attire (our protective gear) was our plan -- anyway, weren't there rides planned on Saturday? Jeans in evening sounds good to us. Gayle

    rider to passenger intercom recomendations

My husband I use the Scala Rider Q2 by Cardo. The Q2 is bike to bike but also works rider to passenger and is wireless. It attaches to any helmet. It has a battery life of approximately 10 hours if you keep it constantly on, longer if you only turn it on (voice activated) when you want to...

    Advice on camping

Thanks for all the suggestions. We are tent camping and I think our choices are limited in Vegas. Might be a night for a hotel. We're still debating.

Serious about buying a Spyder but have questions

Totally something the wife would feel comfortable on. I am a 5'1", 98 lb female. I decided at age 48 to get my motorcycle license and 5 years later have been through five cruisers and two sport bikes. I sold my last sport bike (an SV650) after deciding I was getting too crazy and reckless on...

    non-bluetooth gps question

I turned the audio off of our Zumo 550 as it cuts off our Scala Q2 headsets often enough, it becomes annoying. We bought the GPS mount with my Kewlmetal risers. Rode yesterday with this set up for the first time, and I could see it great. It is certainly true, though, that you have to glance...

So who am I going to see at the BRP event in June?

Count in Dragonheart (Gayle) and hubby (Jerry) from Bristol, TN. We want to meet up with everyone at some point. As Lamont and I have discussed, we really prefer to take more 600 mile days getting out than what appears to be 1000 mile days. Deb, I think you are meaning "Pomona" and not...

    Cruise Control from Australia

I have it and absolutely love it! My dealer tried all kinds of ways to try to get it to stick or trip up, and it would cut itself off if speed conflicted with the Spyder's safety features. It will also cut off if you have to twist the throttle hard or if you pull in the clutch as well as...

    Kewlmetal Risers

I just checked with my husband, and he said it was doing this before he put the original grips back on. :dontknow: Thanks so much for the input.

    Attention Women Riders!

I love my Corbin heated seat and wiring was added for my Gerbing heated clothing - definite musts for me. Next important feature is my Slider windshield from Marcel (I can slide the shield up or down on the fly). Made a HUGE difference for me! I am 5'1" and a little under 100 pounds, and now...
