• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Graphics Packages...

Thanks... Thanks, Amanda and Frank3... Those were things I hadn't considered. FYI...the graphics package I settled on is called "True Fire", from Spiralus Designs. It's gorgeous...costs about $280, as I recall.:f_spider:

    Graphics Packages...

A question: do any of you know somebody, preferably in central Indiana, capable of doing a perfecto installation of a graphics package on a Spyder? A hole in my lower spine (souvenir of Vietnam) and hereditary tremulitis keep me from doing this myself. Any suggestion appreciated. Thank...

    Who rode today?

Finally climbed back to about 40 today, after two weeks of numbing cold. My SE5 slumbers in the garage, awaiting temps back to about 50. In theory, at least, that should occur for a few days next week. First, I wanna make sure the salt is washed from the roads by a little rain beforehand.:sour:

    Anyone still ryding?

WLFI-TV forecasts some days next week with highs around 50. I'll believe it when I see it. If some days of rain beforehand clear salt off the streets, then I may give it a shot, just to clear out some "cabin fever". :gaah:

    Anyone still ryding?

My SE5 sits quietly in the garage...full tank with preventative, battery charger clicking away as needed. Flat refuse to ride, with salt on the road. And, riding will be stunted for a few months. Next Friday, Kathy and I pick up our two new puppies. That will keep us occupied, for some weeks to...

My Spyder has a New Skin.

About the fenders... I suddenly realized, after a period of weeks, that the fenders only are one-quarter covered. This makes no sense to me. I wonder what Peter's raison d'etre was for this oddity...:dontknow:

    2010 Spyders

Action MotorSports in Lafayette, Indiana still has four '09 Spyders on their floor, including one Phantom. Lousy local economy likely sez they will be there for a while longer. One 2010 is on order for a customer...sales staff pessimistic about any 2010s for the floor, but one.:dontknow:
