• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Paint code

You can use a paint scanner, get the values and then any competent paint place can blend the colors for you in order to get a very close match (if not perfect).

    Custom Painted 900 Ryker

Yep, something like that :) - I love that rat :). At the launch they did something slightly different but still love the look of it - found a picture (kind of cool in my books :) ):

    Custom Painted 900 Ryker

Honestly... personally I think these trikes are a perfect canvas for a "rat" look... or bobber style. I really like what they did at their launch for the Ryker - where they had an artist doing some custom painting, graffiti look on the trikes. I could see myself doing something similar in the...

    Rykers Require 87 Octane - Not 92!

I guess at this point it is safe to say is OK to use any type of gas as long is 87+... final decision is up to each individual :).

    Custom Painted 900 Ryker

Yep... if you plan to wrap the entire trike, then probably painting will be cheaper and easier. The wrap material by itself (good quality) is quite high in $. If you only wrap a few pieces, then is worth it.

    Swaybar on the Rally Edition

I don't know what that means... but I guess I need to apologize for it somehow now... My apologies for all the trauma you have been exposed by the written Canadian! ;)

Guy flipped his Ryker riding in reverse

Sooo.... if you drive a reverse trike in reverse... will that make your reverse trike a... "normal" trike!? :gaah:

Not a Glowing Endorsement for LED Headlights...

That's not entirely true... you most probably had the wrong lights - length or power... Here is a better explanation from a guy that know what he is talking about - I know is from the car industry, but headlight design has the same principle for motorcycles as well. Is a long video, but worth...

Not a Glowing Endorsement for LED Headlights...

The shape of the bulb's "head" and the position inside the headlight matters. You need a more flatter profile (from side) and you need to make sure that the lenght of the bulb inside the headlight is the same to the stock bulb filament. The design of the reflective lenses is always specific and...

    My Aux lighting in front

Sorry for the silly question... I'm just trying to understand if there are any issues with this mount... Having your lights mounted on pretty much the wheel; aren't they moving up and down with the wheel, based on the road conditions? Couldn't this create some issues for the incoming traffic...

Guy flipped his Ryker riding in reverse

3 wheel safety courses... everyone should get one at least.

    Wrapped my ryker

    Not bad at all :).

So why is it called 'Ryker'?

That's exactly what I always think when I see the name... Adding a star trek emblems on the side of the trike will be probably quite fitting :). I always thought that the Y represents the reverse 3 wheel configuration - each point of the Y is where the wheels are at kind of a thing :).

Hello random thread... I give you my random comment.

This may be of interest to those on the "First Coast"

Blue works with yellow... that would look good. Just make sure you get the shade right - a light metalic shade will probably work best on that yellow. In the end is up to your preference :).

This may be of interest to those on the "First Coast"

The even more funnier thing is that one could just buy the black version and re-paint the thing (or wrap - these are very easy to wrap) to whatever color you want monthly :D.

My solution for larger top case with passenger seat

The side edge that points down can be trimmed. You don't need all that "height" on it in order to make it strong. Try and do a round cut, like an arch (similar with bridges support), following the contour of the wheel and reduce the side by half - don't go lower. That should be more than OK...
