• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The daily Adventures of a 2010 RT-S SE5 Ryder in the Mid-West

Sorry to hear you're ending the adventures I know I have come to love reading about. Who knows though, maybe both you and Teddy will get back into it after a little break ;) Have fun on your visit to Cowtown. If it weren't for having to work this weekend I'd come down and meet you and Teddy.

    Our new ryde!

Congrats to you both!! :2thumbs: alsims, did you by chance get the matching trailer with it? Reason I ask is I was on my way to Cowtown to pick up my Spyder when I passed a white RT-S pulling a matching 622 trailer on Hwy 63. It is definitely nice!!

    Mo Gang Patches

I didn't get an e-mail. Guess that is what I get for not being able to attend the Spyderfest meetings :roflblack: In any case, I would like to please order one if I am allowed to have one seeing as how I was a no-show for all the meetings. I tell you, work sucks! If it weren't for it paying the...

    Can Am Tail Bag Issues

The bottom is rigid but I think it will flex some. I have the stock seat on my Spyder and the bag is just a little to big too fit in there without the back part of it sitting on the front part of the sport rack, just a little bit though. Yes, it does have both bungees and hook loops so it does...

    Can Am Tail Bag Issues

The bag does in fact look real good Ron. Mine came in today, thanks! :D I have not seen the Can-Am bag so I can't accurately compare the two but this bag is going to work well for me. It has a lot of space as is and can get even more with the expansion feature. I also like the supplied dividers...

    HIDs question

As of yesterday, the problem has become intermittent. Sometimes it would do a double sweep and sometimes not. Now though there is a bigger problem, my Spyder is dead in the water :( When I hit the start button I get nothing but some noise. Guess now I will have to find a way to get it to...

    HIDs question

Pardon my lack of knowledge, but when you say ECM module, do you mean the cluster? I think the ballasts were mounted up under the dash right above the cluster.

    HIDs question

I don't have any fog lights yet and yes, they did have to remove the cluster to get the bulbs in. Thanks for the info! :D Edit to add that the battery is fully charged and working ok. I always keep it on a tender when not riding.

    HIDs question

I had the ESI HIDs installed yesterday and was wondering if anyone has had this happen or have heard of it. I must say beforehand that I have zero knowledge on how this works so figured I would ask the experts. I do plan on calling the shop back, just wondered if maybe anyone knows what the...

It was very nice meeting you and thanks for letting me be a part of your maiden voyage on your new ride! :2thumbs: Hope the weather cooperated with you on your way home and I...

    Feedback thread

I'll add to this to share my experience in doing business with BajaRon. I am sure most everyone knows already but I will say that BajaRon is a first class sponsor to deal with. I have done 2 transactions with him already and a third one pending and in all cases he has helped me with all my...

    Spyderfest 2011

Hey X-Joe, when you have this ride finalized can you please let me know the route you will be taking as you come in to Jeff City? My plan is to just wait for you all to get here to meet up with you then ride back with you all back to Cowtown. If there is anything I can do to help please let me...

    Gas Dripping

No, as Len confirmed mine was leaking from the fuel pump insert area. As he said, a spot weld had broken loose. I thought it was a rivet. The last time I had a leak from the evap cannister (best they could determine anyway), something terrible happened. My Spyder caught on fire.

    Gas Dripping

Not saying this is what's going on with your Spyder but the times I had raw gas spilling out after shutting the Spyder off, it was determined I had a faulty gas tank. Something about a weld or rivet on a seal on top of the tank had broken and I guess when pressure got to be too much in the tank...
