• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Be careful there about not making payments. As long as you signed the mortgage papers when you bought your Spyder on credit, if you use your Spyder or not you will still have to keep up on the payments. You don't what to have the paper holder come pick up your Spyder and forclose on it. Sorry...

Is the 2013 RS-S worth the extra money?

True only if you purchase a new model after it's been on the market for one year. That gives the manufacturer one year to clean up their act. Arthur---Mexico City

Total cost of a Spyderfest trip

RS- adding a coolant fan switch

I also have to put my 2 cents in. Here in Mexico City exists the worse traffic in the world. My 2008 GS would get so hot that once the coolant tank ruptured. That was replaced and when doing this I also installed a fan bypass switch that I would use everytime I saw heavy traffic coming. I...

Extending wiring Be very crefull when making the multiconductor cables longer. I did that on my SE5 and all went well as the first 2 cables' wires were color coded. So when I went to do the third cable extension I just cut it in half knowing thinking there would be separate wire colors. But...

**** "DO'S & DO NOTS" for NEW SPYDER OWNERS... ****

Riding the brakes I suspected that I was riding the right foot operated brake. To really find out if this was so I installed a bright blue LED on the dash on my SE5 GS and wired it in the circuit of the brake light. Anytime the foot brake is actuated the least little bit the LED turns on. I...

    Front Tire Wear

I suggest the following. Get you Spyder's front wheel aligned at an authorized Spyder shop. Then exchange the right tire with the left one. Since the tires should be run (rotate) in a certain direction the tries will have to be dismounted from their rims and remounted exchanging one for the...
