• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to gear up to ride comfortably and safely in really hot weather?

Have ridden many times in 105 - 112 degree heat in TX/AZ. Mesh is your friend. Also, use cooling shirts/vests/pants under your mesh. I've actually gotten pretty cool in these conditions. If you don't have the cooling gear.... soak the long sleeve shirts and pants in water and wring them out...

    It's Here...

Sunday is supposed to be 95 up here in the Seattle area... very unusual. We have a more temperate climate. I have a BRC to teach this weekend. Hopefully no one shows up in full leather!!

Who cares how much money you spent

Oh Jimmy.... this is tame. Try looking at some of the MB/AMG, Porsche or Ferrari forums. I acquired an AMG about a year ago and was "invited" to join an exclusive forum for AMG owners. Now THEY are a bunch of spoiled 2 year olds!! Every brand has them. I just filter the BS and do like you said...

    Warm Weather Riding Clothes

When it gets warm here, I use mesh. I almost lost my life last year when a truck hit me. Was wearing ballistic mesh jacket/pants/gloves and didn't get a scratch on me! It's almost like wearing nothing with all the ventilation you get. You can always put a sweatshirt or something under if you get...

The reason I chose a spyder

There are several 2-wheelers that don't have a clutch.... Honda NC700x, Honda CTX700, Africa Twin, Yamaha FJR.... and all the Maxi-scooters. Especially like the BMW 650. That being said... I have a Spyder, a Maxi-scooter and a BMW GS....I'm a MSF/H-D Riding Instructor and could give a Rat's...

Are Spyders super sensitive to road crown?

I am a MSF Instructor here in WA State and I'm constantly switching from 2-wheels to 3-wheels. I have to get a whole different attitude when I jump on the Spyder. I'm still finding myself "fighting" the thing for the first 2-3 miles and then I start relaxing and riding much differently. Doing...

    ATGATT.....different question

You can wear what you want, it's your choice. What gets me is when someone sets up a "GoFundMe" page for their medical bills, after their 2nd skin graft, because they made bad choices!!

    ATGATT.....different question

I wear the same exact gear when I ride a 2-wheeler. A crash is a crash. Cars don't hurt less because you're on a :spyder2:

I just bought the Helite Air Bag jacket. Wish I would have been wearing it during the crash!!

    ATGATT stories

I am a MSF Instructor here in WA and almost lost my life last year. After teaching a class, I was on the way home and travelling in the right lane of a 3-lane highway. I was approaching an intersection and a Toyota pick-up in the left turn lane, with his left turn blinker flashing.... decided to...
