• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The Pace

http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/pace So, my guy Joe is a huge proponent of "The Pace" - see the attached article. For those who have been riding Spyders for a while, at speed - how does this translate? Riding with Joe, I learned to not use my brakes much, but am still tentative about how fast...

Solo ride to Custer Sd -

Hi Folks! So I'm planning a solo trip from Lyons Colorado to Custer SD weekend after next (to ensure I miss the Sturgis crowd, no offence), Thursday through Sunday. 2 nights camping, 1 hotel. What are your thoughts on what not to miss, campgrounds, hotels??? I'm about 7 hours from Custer, so 2...

What would you pay for almost new rotors?

Yep - my thoughts too. I would put these on my bike because I know their history. Buying them from a stranger? Nope. New owners win the lottery with this one. Thanks!!!

What would you pay for almost new rotors?

I've got a pair of front rotors for my GS that have less than 2k miles on them. Replaced them because I was told one of them was warped, and they were perfectly true. I'm trying to decide whether to give them to the couple who are buying my GS, or sell them. To buy new - over $300 Would you pay...

    Seat Bag For F3T Limited

I think it was the large one - I use Roc straps and the bungee buttons from Lamonster - very easy to attach, and no damage to the passenger handrails. Worked very well.

    Seat Bag For F3T Limited

Dry Bags A friend of mine loaned me her Wolfman dry bag for my trip to Utah in June. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/wolfman-expedition-dry-duffel-bag I carried the tent, a folding chair and my pillow in it - and then piled my CamelBack and assorted other stuff on top. Then I used...

F3T Limited edition - where's the info on the adjustable air shock?

Air shock and BRP backrest adjustments Okay - I found the valve for the air shock. For those who don't know the lingo (as I didn't) this is called the ACS system. You add air just like adding air to a tire. I found mine was set at Zero (sigh). I was surprised at quickly the rear of the bike...

F3T Limited edition - where's the info on the adjustable air shock?

I must be blind. I've looked in my owner's manual, downloaded a shop manual, looked through this forum - and I see no instructions on how to adjust the rear air shock for 2 up riding. :banghead: Help please? Oh, and while you're at it - how do you adjust the BRP backrest? Must be Monday...

Newbie with questions on what model to buy

Only $7400 - you'll have money for risers and floorboards and enough left over to take someone special to a REALLY nice dinner. Oh, btw - I've got risers that I never put on. I'll sweeten the deal and throw them in. Just sayin'...

Newbie with questions on what model to buy

Hi - yeah, that's my GS for sale. It's been a great bike. I've had it for 4 years trouble free. Check out my for sale ad - Corbin seat with backrests, highway pegs. saddlebags - much more. It's a great price - if you decide in a few years you want something else, you would lose much. That's what...

I purchased my F3 about 6 weeks ago, and the windshield grommets are already cracked and dry. Has anyone else had this problem? Small thing, but annoying nonetheless. :banghead:

    GS belt replacement

You guys rock. Job is done, and I'd say it took about 3 hours with some of that fighting to get a couple of rusted bolts apart :banghead: I used the method above, and it worked very well. I've got an appointment with my dealer to have them check tension and alignment as I'm selling this bike and...
