• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Newbie question

My BF is an MSF insructor. He read through my manual, and most of the riding practice stuff is MSF. Here's what I have learned. Look through the curve - nojoke Keep your eyes up - :yikes: Lean forward and into the curve - put your "nose over your knuckles" Push with your outside...

Driver Backrest position question - RS with Corbin Seat

Thank-you akspyderman - I was goign to put them on just to see, but I'm fairly certain they are the 1 1/2" inc as you said. My back is not a problem, knees and hips more so. I'm just looking to find different riding postions for longer rides. I don't mind the forward position, just need to...

Driver Backrest position question - RS with Corbin Seat

I'm thinking handlebar risers will help. I got some with the Spyder (bought from private party) but they had never installed them. Not sure how tall they are... We'll see. I might have to use the bungee and pillow method for my ride to Jackson Hole at the end of the month!

Driver Backrest position question - RS with Corbin Seat

I picked up my Corbin saddle with rider and passenger backrests this weekend. Great deal from nice folks on Craigslist. How do you position the backrest for the driver? At first, I positioned it so it make contact with my back while riding in normal forward position. Irritated the heck out of...

    Confession time

Thanks for posting this I'm new to Spyderdom, (or is it Spyderness?) and was wondering about this issue. On a motorcycle you can swerve fairly easy to avoid certain things. I wasn't sure if it was better to hold on, brake and hope for the best, or try to swerve to miss the obstacle. My sense...

Is there a special wave for Can-Am riders??

We were both so stunned to see each other, us and the riders coming the other way, we did a weird, somewhat awkward, spaz wave thing that did not resemble anything "cool" what-so-ever! Haha! It was very funny! Well, now, THAT sounds familiar!!! DOH! :opps:

Corbin seat and backrests for RS

Hi everyone! Just got my Spyder last weekend...

Hi Spyderling. Wow, that is a question that could take a long time to answer. Have you decided on an RT or an RS? I bought an RS for a couple of reasons - money probably being #1 as they are quite a bit less expensive, but I also really like the sport-y-ness of the RS. I am more into day trips...

Corbin seat and backrests for RS

Thanks for your input Thanks everyone for your input. I've decided to buy the Corbin seat and backrests from these folks from Craigslist. I'll let you know how it all works. That being said, I will then have 3 saddles for 1 RS. I might just have a stock saddle for sale, and/or an upgraded...
