• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

I'm very happy I was able to help everyone, sounds like contacting Jennifer at BRP with my claim number is the way to get your own claim number and new panels, love them on my bike and two long trips this weekend should provide a good test for the NHTSA investigator

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

Yeah, I was dealing with the same BRP Care rep you are and he actually came through, same circumstances, I already ordered the panels and it was pushed to a senior Rep, then the case number was issued and sent straight to the dealership, they had it within 24 hours and I got a call from the...

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

That sucks, my case was approved in 2-1/2 weeks and now my local dealership has already ordered 5 sets of kits within the past 24 hours, all they require is each person just call and ask for them

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

Well, that's interesting, I thought any of the dealers could access cases, I know that my dealership ordered at least 4 kits yesterday for members that came in to meet the NHTSA investigator, he was there to watch and document the whole installation process

Which type of helmet do your prefer for "cruising"?

I have several, one Arai race helmet and two GMax Modular helmets, I prefer the high end helmets but these GMax modulars are very nice and have become out go to helmets on all rides

    Spyder Spy Photos-Lamonster take

Too hard to tell for sure but I believe this is the entry level Spyder in its preliminary stage, it will be a stripped down version with a 600cc motor and BRP will unveil this at the dealer meeting exactly like they did for the Sea-Doo Spark unveiling the price from right to left, my dealer is...

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

I hesitate to mention this but yes that bulletin was just released under my case number and my emails to BRP Care, So anyone wanting the new panels can just go to their local dealer and request them, no more need to contact BRP Care by email :yes:

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

Reply to that email and insist they cover the panel cost under warranty, make it clear that you hace no intention of paying for them yourself and you want a case number assigned to your complaint

My First Impression of the Lamonster CAT Bypass

As you'll soon find out, it's definitely the heat problem unless you're the owner or a new 2014 ST, the 2013 ST doesn't have the vented side panels and even with them, the CAT located directly under the fuel tank throws off a ton of heat, that's the main reason for eliminating it

    Another exhaust question

My Hindle exhaust fell apart where the pipe attached to the mid-pipe, the rivots blew out and the carbon fiber just fell apart, I switched to the Voodoo Shorty because I didn't want another can style muffler on my bike, they are extremely loud though, there is no exhaust on the market today that...

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

Exactly and I doubt those panels cost BRP as much as the dealerships are wanting to charge for them, it just takes a little effort on your part to actually email BRP Care and complain about the heat issues, once they review the service record and make sure all the safety recalls and service...

    Another exhaust question

Yes, add a Green Air filter and get a little more air, I also added the Mel's Monster Garage air intake to my 2009 GS and it ran great, I switched out my Hindle exhaust for the Voodoo Shorty later but never needed a programmer (Mine was an SE5 and never had a single problem)

My First Impression of the Lamonster CAT Bypass

I like to do my own work, just thought I'd share my experience so far, it's not a straight forward install as claimed especially when you need to modify or adjust the pipe before fitting it, Not a problem for me but others may find it difficult :)

New Airflow panels for 2013 ST-S

BRP Care is not at the point of starting a recall on the panels but they don't seem to be fighting as hard as they were in the beginning, any warranty claims are always taken care of by the dealership at no charge, BRP assumes the cost when covering a warranty item

    Another exhaust question

That's actually quite normal for this to happen with that exhaust, a programmer isn't needed until you modify the bike's air intake and add an after market exhaust, depends on the year and model too, my 2009 GS had straight pipes, ram air intake and aftermarket Green air filter and didn't need a...
