• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Gettysburg 4th of July

Or already in the area? Local to me, although I'm closer to Harrisburg than Gettysburg. Very familiar with the area as we go there often as CW buffs and have friends and car club members that live there. Currently working on a monument trivia scavenger hunt for one of our upcoming club road...

    Trailering the Spyder

Axle straps with protective sleeves through the wheels, then ratcheting tie-downs to the anchor points. Works for me on the trailer and in the toy hauler. As stated above, through the wheels is the recommended method in the owner manual. Denny

Who is going to the owner event from Pa?

Ken, my plans are not set at this point. I was asked today if I could spend a few days in Lynchburg, Va. that week conducting some training Mon-Tue-Wed at a vendor's facility. I'll be exploring this, since I can get my expenses paid for the first half of the trip. I would have to leave for...

Who is going to the owner event from Pa?

Looks like I may be leaving the toy hauler at home and riding to the owner's event. Who else from Pa are going? I'm in the Harrisburg area. Denny

RVers and Owners Event in Maggie Valley

I like that plan and will see if it can work for us. Coming from Pa, Baileyton RV Park keeps us from having to backtrack, and puts us an hour + closer to home. Of course if the wife cannot clear her schedule, I'll leave the toy hauler at home and ride the RT to the event.

    BAckrest & Armrests???

Watched them being installed by Allen during Spyderfest, since there were no brown armrests in the trailer (we will order them). It is so simple, pop the fastener for the seat prop rod, take out 4 bolts, place the plate and install the supplied 4 new bolts through the plate into the existing...

Wanted to share one more picture

I got one of the bacon sundaes last summer in the Detroit area during the annual Shelby Dodge national event. It was delicious! And at the risk of being called cruel, here's my Lambert's dinner - chopped steak smothered in gravy and veggies, turmip greens, whiite beans, black eyed peas, rolls...

My goodness Bob, please put this on your must-do list for next time. You won't be disappointed. My only regret - couldn't try everything!

Wanted to share one more picture

This pic shows a lot of the week in one picture. Some of the people, the events, the prizes, the food (Lamberts), the weather. It was a great week!

    Looking for picture

I think Spyder_Cowgirl has a white RT with a tan seat in her signature, saw it a while ago in a thread - somewhere. Edit - found it http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?51882-Bad-Timing!

So what farkles are being picked up at SpyderFest?

Added bump skid and shock relocations. Made a call to Gene at Misty Mountain sheepskins a week before SF and ordered the sheepskin slippers for Deb as a surprise. Happy to report that I actually did surprise her, instead of her figuring it out in advance. We then bought the full seat sheep skin...

    Shakedown 'Cruise' this Weekend

That's a good plan, and what I did as well. My shakedown cruise was for Pa state inspection and a side trip on the interstate just to try things out (about 35 miles), without the Spyder. I bought out of state as well, and had to wait nearly 2 months for plates/sticker. There was bad weather so...

roll call for the north east convoy going to Spyderfest

I called Champagne tonight and updated with our new info. We will be unable to meet at the Blue Mountain Rest stop on the PA turnpike due to my wife's work schedule. We will be leaving later in the morning (before noon) Monday with the truck and toy hauler and will drive from the Harrisburg East...

    SpyderFest-Stage Stop RV Park

We decided on KOA, as we will be spending time at the camper and will have our dogs with us. I think you gave me advice in another thread about the ramp patio option. We did buy it and love it. Thanks!

    SpyderFest-Stage Stop RV Park

Wondering what you liked or disliked about these two. Looked at the satellite pictures on google maps and map quest, and the Ozark Highlands looks to be a parking lot with hookups rather than a campground. I need to decide on one or the other today if possible. Appreciate your help, Thanks!
