• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bad Vibration 2024 Can Am Spyder RT Limited - what can I do to improve my ride?

Tell us more about your experience. Brand of tires, inflation etc. You are one of very few that that such an experience, it would be nice to know more details. If you had followed the inflation specs of the OEM tires the car tires would have not performed well. I run 16-16.5 in the front and...

Anyone ever tried/run snow or studded tires on their Ryker for Winter use in the snowy climes?

I had, back in the day, a 1967 Camaro SS/RS 350 and it would get stuck on a flat road that had snow on it.

Rear tire mileage - How are you people getting 10,000 + miles on Kenda tires?

General Tire Altimax RT45 215/60R15 works well. On Amazon for $125.99. No need to balance it. I have put three on different trikes, and one RT43 on my first trike. Will go 30K or more miles.

Getting Your Money's Worth from a Tire!

That was true when I drove a gas tank in 1976-79. We ran Bandag recaps on the drivers and trailer. As I recall, I put 200 k miles on in the three years, all on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.

After 3 years of planning, I am riding Route 66 starting June 8

Yeah I enjoy day trips under 200 miles, with an over night trip once in a while. Stopped to enjoy the scenery whenever it is there.

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

Or this 5t right hand six wheel drive IH cornbinder we had in Thailand in 1966-67 at the USCG Loran C station. We also had a right hand drive Travelall and 6 pack pickup. I drove a AF deuce and a haft for a while to haul water to the station.

Getting Your Money's Worth from a Tire!

Hey, that had unused tread left on the outer edges, must have hit a piece of scrap metal on the road. 🤓 :ROFLMAO:

After 3 years of planning, I am riding Route 66 starting June 8

In the back of my head a thought is rattling around about riding the Washington full chrome model Spyder to Arizona sometime next summer and returning to Washington with the Arizona dark model that has had chrome pieces added. Shortest route is around 1500 miles and the scenic route on the Coast...

Are there really any mechanical upgrades made to 2026 RT's to account for the quieter, smoother, livelier hype?

Shawn always seem to pump up the new model, think different color(s), vs the earlier model.

Had a used HD 125 in the late 1950's as my first motorcycle. The Arizona 2018 is my second RT and I have the third 2018 in Washington. The first 2018 RTL "Champaign" was sold in Sept 2025. Port Angeles, Wa as an early teenager - Arizona - Washington - First road bike in the early 1980's...

See "... or if he was bought and sold by Can Am to help push the sales of the 26s in the absence of any real upgrades." He knows the Spyder really well, however, I think he drinks the BRP Kool-Aid.

Bad Vibration 2024 Can Am Spyder RT Limited - what can I do to improve my ride?

I like Vredesteins Quatrac on the front and a General Altimax on the rear. Some report clearance issues with Vredesteins Quatrac 165/60R-15 on the 2020+ Spyder RT's, as they are taller than the 165/55R-15 Kenda's. I run the 1/2" wider PPA wheels with 175/55R-15 Vredestein Quatrac's.

Bad Vibration 2024 Can Am Spyder RT Limited - what can I do to improve my ride?

Did they check the balancing of the front tires? Are the tires inflated to spec? 2024 would still have been wearing the older Kenda tires I believe. I would guess there is a glob of balance weights on them. Also, the trike could have been sitting for almost 3 years, creating flat spots on the...
