• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Okay, so the phone is controlling everything.

And yet it works quite well on my 2024 Spyder RT, even with the older/slower USB connection.


So I'm still confused about why most of this conversation is happening, since Apple CarPlay works.

To run CarPlay I disconnect the Bluetooth from iPhone to the helmet and establish Bluetooth from helmet to the Spyder and use the USB data cable.

Simple when you know how. By the way, to run CarPlay you don’t actually need a Bluetooth connection from the iPhone to the Spyder. That’s for BRP specific services only.

I’ve upgraded this to use just one cable, a data cable and now just insert a data blocker when I just want USB power for charging and I’m not using CarPlay. Thanks to those who made the suggestion.
