• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone tried to Waterproof an Ultimate Seat? Anything work?

Has anyone tried to seal the seams of the Ultimate Seat with a waterproof application? The rain cover isn't working for me. This is my second Ultimate Seat on a new 2026 F3L. Just wanted to see if anything works.

Thanks for any information.

Have you considered contacting Motorcycle Dave, http://www.motorcycledave.com, (209) 887-3283, and asking his advice?

I have a rain cover for my OEM Comfort Seat, and while it's a mite of a PITA to put on it has successfully gotten me through some frog strangling rainy days.

I wouldn't do it since the seat is designed for ventilation and not rain proofing. I would think that rain proofing the Ultimate seat will eliminate the ability for it to let the air to flow through the material, cause the seat to be much hotter, cause the seat material to deteriorate much quicker and void any warranty you may have.

I would think waterproofing the seams may very well work. I bet water rolls off the finest available highest grade marine vinyl that they use.

Foam and covers: (one year warranty)

We manufacture our controlled density memory foam in molds which are built for each and every seat, so the moldings are always exactly the same shape, size and specification.

We use the finest available highest grade marine vinyl for our seat covers, looks and feels like leather but have much better resistance to the weather elements.

A full leather seat is not an available option as we found they do not weather well.

We do not use plastic between our foam and cover like original seats because this holds heat in the cover, our seats offer you a cooler ride.

Our seat cover panels are designed and cut using a computer-controlled state of the art machine that maintains tolerances to half a millimeter.

Cover panels are meticulously hand sewn together by our in house trained skilled sewers.

Our decorative studs are solid brass and chrome plated and will not tarnish.

We also offer many options of colors and embroidered logos for your personalized seat.

We guaranty our seats are the best and back it up with our 14 day trial period.

If you’re not happy for any reason you can return the seat for a full refund.

Enjoy the ride again on your Ultimate seat
