There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

I have read through this post a couple times and there's one thing that brings a red flag up, the OP said that he took the spring off his shock and could not press the piston in on the shock!!!!! That tells me that shock is air bound, and the reason he thinks it's bottoming out is because the shock is not working the way it was made to, and yes that would pound the neck out of the bottom bolt! Just my thoughts!

Sorry, as of right now I have the stock shock back on there. I'm in the process of finding an hourglass bushing to insert on the open end of the unit that goes on the bottom of the M2 shock, so I can use the stock shock mounting tube and bolt, making it a much stronger section. First and third picture shows what I'm working with. Second picture shows Marcus' setup, had a bearing inserted in the end, and those 2 collars slipped into it on either side, but that is the weak spot and allows the bending in that spot.

When mounted on the bike the M2 shock functions fine, in fact when putting a zip tie around the shaft at base of upper housing, it shoved it to the bottom of the shock when hitting a big bump at speed. Hence the bent bolt on the bottom. I have a different spring on there now, I believe I do not have the damping adjusted correctly.

Mikey, that shock looks like a Bilstein.
The ones we had on our pre-runner had 200lbs of nitrogen pressure.
They can be hard to compress.
Could be part of the problem.

New to this thread.
Something I haven't see is much about the spring.
It looks very short and I am wondering if it is coil binding.
This when the spring is fully collapsed before the shock bottoms out.
Look for marks on the inside of the spring where the coils have been hitting.
Would have the same result as the shock bottoming.

Bingo, it's a bilstein blacked out with M2 Logo over it, and I now have a 9 inch spring rather than the 6 inch, could only get the 9 inch rated at 550 instead of 500.
