There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Here in Vermont, we had temps in the 70's, sunny, and it felt like summer! Currently it is partly cloudy, sunny, warm. They issued a Red Flag Warning (on Tuesday). Brush fires continue to be a risk today. While the Red Flag Warning has expired, they issued a Special Weather Statement from the National Weather Service for near-critically low humidity, making any fires that start extremely difficult to contain.

The good news is that there is rain on the way. First though, the bulk of Wednesday will remain primarily dry. Rain doesn't arrive in the St. Lawrence Valley until later this evening and does not become widespread until late tonight and early Thursday. Highs today will climb into the upper 60's and lower 70's with mainly cloudy skies overhead.

The early morning hours on Thursday will be the wettest period of the day, followed by scattered on and off showers into Thursday afternoon. Right now, most areas look to receive a fairly widespread 0.5" to 1" inch of rain, with locally higher amounts possible across Northern New York. Temp will be much cooler, with most of us only reaching highs in the 50's.

Friday, and the weekend both look drier, although a few spotty showers cannot be ruled out each day. Temps will trend cooler, with highs in the upper 40's and low to mid 50's, and overnight lows falling back into the 30's.

More rain is possible early next week, but temps will begin to rebound by Monday, with highs reaching the mid to upper 50's.

Fires are a very challenging experience to deal with anytime. You guys be Safe and careful about fires. I have seen what a real wildfire can do.

I hope you get some of the needed rain showers asap. Here in Indiana we are a little wet. Drying out and 62°F°.

We're experiencing a warming trend for the next few days here in the desert. We'll get to 88 today and then move up into the low 90s before dropping back into the 80s late next week. The overnight lows will stay in the 60s except for the weekend when they will climb to the low 70s. Nothing but sunshine and very light breezes in the forecast. Humidity will remain low (currently at 11%). Overall, very pleasant weather to enjoy all outside activities. Stay safe..... Jim

Little Blue,

In some parts of Vermont, the wild fire had burned 55 acres. It was in a National Forest, there are no structures or chemicals that were burning. They now have the fire under control. They had 65 firefighters who responded.

It is currently raining and it is a soaking rain.
