• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stopping a Spyder

It is possible to fit the newer Brembo brakes to the older V-twin bikes. I have done it. The older brake parts are becoming unavailable. Rear is pretty straightforward just needing the hanger and new caliper and rotor. Front, you will need to change the hub and need new 15" wheels. As well as the calipers and rotors. Not cheap but at least the parts are available. And it is a significant improvement in brake feel and performance. I did not change the master cylinder and it worked out just fine. No doubt the ABS calibration is not right but it did not seem to act poorly in a panic stop. Just some FYI.
This changeout to the Brembo components should not affect the ABS system as it monitors wheel rotation for activation. It doesn't care at all what brake components you're using.

An ambitious endeavor which most are not going to be up for. But impressive, none the less. I've never felt my 08 GS lacked enough in stopping ability to go this route. But the Brembo system is certainly an improvement over the original equipment.

I feel like my 2015 stops pretty well, considering its weight.
It does have the Brembo system though.
