There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I saw this product and the price point is very attractive. I am looking to replace me older Cardo. Anyone have any feedback on this product?

Thanks in advance,
Jim

Interesting that you posted, I started getting their adds yesterday, not sure why. Looked a little, and they have models on Amazon as low as $17 US... and they have ratings of 4.2+. I assume the models on Amazon are a previous model, but they have identical markings down to the model number appearance as marked (although Amazon calls it a Y10). Interested in seeing what feedback you get?

Appears the $17 is for a single unit. Amazona also has a Y10/V10-2X for $25.

AI Overview

The main difference is that
the BikerVision V10-2X is an enhanced version of the V10, often featuring better connectivity (like Bluetooth 5.0 for stable connections), improved audio quality (sometimes with better speakers/noise reduction), longer battery life, and potentially advanced features like HD sound or dynamic mesh intercom (though BikerVision is a brand, so check their specific model details), while the V10 is the standard or older model focusing on core intercom and music functions at a lower price point. The "-2X" often denotes a significant upgrade in the "X" generation of their technology.

I use a Sena 3S Plus Boom Microphone kit that I installed in my helmet.
Current list price is also US $99.

Been with Sena since 2014 and still running great. With all the crapola I have running on it, I'm amazed it works at all. Intercom, radio, phone, FOBOs (including trailer), and a camera. Learning the 7-step startup sequence is like following a check off list for a jet! Because I'm just short of full on dementia, according to my wife, I had to make a check off list and put it in my phone. We're going into Winter now, and come Spring, I'll never get it all working again just from memory. If done correctly, it works perfectly. But screw up just one step, I have to shut it down and start over again. It's pretty much worthless when doing errands in town. Stop, shut it off, then go again, and stop, shut it off... a pain in the ***!

I don't have a Sena and don't have too much exposure to them these days, but I wonder if yours might work like this too, if you try...

My u-Clear unit is pretty easy to start & shut off quickly, but if I'm doing stuff that means turning it off and on again more than just once in a shortish period, I generally tend to just leave it on... It automagically disconnects and re-connects with everything that shuts down and re-starts when I shut down or re-start the Spyder, generally leaving it just connected to my phone as I walk away. The u-Clear battery is more than capable of lasting all day, even for a few days, especially if I'm not continually streaming something, and even if the u-Clear is still on and stashed in the frunk &/or the pannier of the Spyder wherever I parked it however long ago, my phone, which is with me, still works fine, I just hafta select the phone speaker when I answer/make a call. And even if I go so far away from the Spyder that the u-Clear disconnects from the phone (doesn't happen that often, I can't walk too far these days! :cautious:), it'll automagically re-connect when I come back in range. ;)

So I just turn the u-Clear on when I put my helmet on in the morning, then leave it on until I get home/stop for the night. There's no need to start it up & connect/disconnect anything as I get on and off thru the day, that all happens automagically, and my comms etc is all there and working whenever I need it until I turn it off as I stash my helmet for the night. :giggle:

You might want to give it a try, and just leave the Sena on when you're running errands/jumping on and off... but then, I did move to u-Clear years ago when I found their technology was far ahead of all the other offerings, so maybe it won't work like that for you...
