There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What do you think is the Best Full Cover For Travel? How big is the storage pouch?

2023 RTL - What are folks using as a full cover while traveling for use in motel parking lots/etc? All that I am finding is the Ultragard Classic. If you are using one of these, what are the dimensions of the storage pouch when packed?
Thanks!

I just use the BRP cover I got with it, I just put it in its case and just strap it on on top of my igloo cooler in the back. It also has enough spare room that I throw my rain gear in there for quick access when I need it.

Oops sorry , just saw you have an RTL.

I really like the Dowco cover. They are strong, well-made, reasonably priced, and come with a good stuff bag that they fit into fairly tightly.

I use the UltraGuard Half cover, the stuff bag is fairly small and doesn't take up much space. I also use their full cover for winter storage; they're good quality and fairly cheap.

I, too, use an UltraGard cover but the full version. I stuff in a mesh bag that's about 6" x 16" and strap to the top of my pillion bag when traveling. It could be compressed further if needed with a compression stuff sack.

Spent some of the tougher times in my life carrying my house on my back; I know what I don't need. Touring on my Spyder I see no need for a full cover and use a Nelson Rigg half cover. It's light, well made and durable. Its stuff sack is 12"X 10"X4" and it sits atop my Hopnel frunk bag that carries all the necessities I need to travel two weeks or two months. Complete foul weather gear resides in right saddle bag and CPAP machine is in left bag. Just because my ride has a third wheel doesn't mean I have to carry more crap.

I use the Can-Am half cover. Stuff sack is built in and I can install or remove very quickly. Has been on/off 100's of times over the years and it's still holding up well. The only parts covered are what I would be worried about.

I second the CamAm half cover, durable, fits tight, secures well, and self stores.

We have Ultra-Gard full covers on both of our S2S's. They fit well, seem to be durable too, and are not really expensive (since we are seniors... lol). They are used mostly in the garage for when our Spyders are not being used. We have Ultra-Gard half covers that we use when riding, in case of the occasional rain shower, although we do try not to be out and about when its raining, or even just fixing too! lol.

Just received my UG full cover yesterday; the box measures 10" x 14" x 4". Mind you, you'd probably never get it repacked into that size short of compressing it by driving over it with a semi, :-) I may get close to it tho... maybe.

I too use a half cover for travel and a full cover for longer term storage. Traveling with a full sized cover seems to take up too much real estate.

Every rally I go to is full of Ultragard. I chose half cover for space savings, and I really just want to protect the seats. Mine has yet to let me down. I got mine under a different brand, but inside the carry bag, was a UG cover with the UG logo on it. 🤷‍♂️

I got one of these from amazon, if you live in the US you can probably get it cheaper than in Canada. I got it when it was under $80 in 2024. I have a travel cover but it doesn’t fit after I fitted a carrier on the trunk even with the screen all the way down. This one is a full size cover and comes with a selection of straps and its own bag. It has reflective lines on the seams. When folded up it is about 12” x 16” almost flat. Best deal ever
