• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Canyon Redrock Ride Review by Lamonster

I've got a couple of Canyon questions:
  1. Does the Canyon have integrated recovery points on the front and rear to hook up a winch line or tow strap; and
  2. Does the Canyon have a rollover check valve in the fuel tank vent line, and does it have an engine shutdown sensor in case it rolls over?

It does not have integrated recovery points. Not sure about the rest but yoyr dealer of a BRP rep should be able to tell you that. Why do you ask?

From what it appears by scrolling thru the various forums and the various facebook Spyder related forums, seems like the initial Canyon sales are going well along with the positive reactions in the comments. Definitely a good thing.

Lamont, again all positive Vibes going your way.

Rather than fitting a winch you could replace the 2 front lower shock. bolts with Towing Eye bolts
on both sides
I have done that on my previous Spyders and also on my current Spyder F3T
These can be used if you breakdown and need loading on to a Low Loader for recovery or someone with a winch could help you get out if stuck
I may consider fitting these to my Canyon when I get it.

Picked up my Redrock today from Ken’s Sports Greenbay. Very positive report on ride home plus a few extra miles (75) to Sturgeon Bay. All improvements will be coming from other readers and guys like Lamont. We are blessed to share ideas in the infancy of a unique vehicle. Stopped for lunch and took my first picture today (37 degrees)

I picked up my Redrock on Thursday and headed out for a 500+ mile ride on Friday.

I just found out my cancer is back so this ride was to help clear my head. It helped and I do love the Canyon.
Sorry to hear Dude, cancer sucks, had it 10 years ago and I beat that demon.

I finally got to check out a canyon at my local dealership. They only had an XT there but what I saw really impressed me. The ergonomics felt exactly like the old STS and Renegade 800 I had before which was nice. Very easy to stand up on like an off road machine, the foot pegs look huge!!

I also got to check out a Ryker Rally. Not bad, but I didn’t care for the “lay down” seating.

Don’t forget the Ryker foot pegs and brake pedal are adjustable, you can slide them back so the peg position is very much like the Canyon. :)

Man, your story is breaking my heart. You have positively affected so many people. I hope you know that. I just said a prayer for you. God is with you. And remember, being with HIM is even better than the open road on a Spyder.
