• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a few Ryker Questions before I purchase.

Regarding cargo carrying, Can-Am also offer a single hard-side bag (pannier) which could be handy. IIRC it's about 36L capacity?

    2022 Ryker Hub Threading REVERSED

I had a 1963 Dodge dart and confirm the left-hand threads on left-side hubs. I had a tire-shop mechanic tell me that my wheel studs were frozen up and if he tried any harder they would break. I told him "They're left-hand thread" at which point he quietly swore. I later swapped the rear axle for...

Anyone tried Handle Bar End Weights? Any good??

Changing the mass of the bars (with weights) changes the resonant frequency to something more pleasant. It's been a thing on motorcycles for a long time. Many motorcycles have them as original equipment.

    Spyders passing HDs

Interesting. Around here, almost all riders will wave - HD, sportbikes, whatever. On my bicycle I've been hit twice, once intentionally (Texas pickup), once accidentally (lost snowbird in Arizona). I've had cagers try to force me off of the road on a few occasions (in Utah).

Frustrating! Delivery time on New RTL

Do they have to grow a tree for the lumber??

Shimmy at about 48 mph up to 56 mph - best guess?

Walked past the bike in the garage a while back and noticed a weight laying on the floor next to the wheel. Just sitting there it fell off. Probably 750 miles on newly installed tires. Back to the shop... When I got my bike back from the shop after a major service, it seems they had sprayed...

New owner in Arizona with some questions

I like the Max Lite. Put them in properly (sounds stupid but some pople don't.) I have worn the wax plugs mentioned and find them pretty much useless.

Inexpensive brake light flasher with photos

I just added HyperLites to the back of mine, didn't fool around with any other circuits. They work well and people give me noticeably more room at a stop.

    Ryker Oil Change...$175.00...lol...

Guy I know recently bought an F3 Limited. He took it to the dealer for an oil change and it was over $300.

    Tire Pressure?

Temporary spares have next to no tread and the walls are super thin. I check my car spare (pressure 60 psi!) frequently, and add air frequently. They lose pressure faster than the "real" tires, I suspect the air just migrates through the sidewalls faster...

Looking for high mileage Rykers & any problems you may have had?

That sounds kind of excessive for warranty claims in less than 30K....

    Rear Brake issue

If the wheel spins freely by hand, then the caliper is opening enough (at least sometimes). As for the squeal - is there still friction material on the pads, or are they down to metal-on-metal? Is it possibly something other than the brake making noise?

The cost to have a parking brake lock install on my Ryker?

I was installing something on my car back when I was in college. I decided to buy the drill because the price would work out the same but then I would have a drill. 30 plus years later I still use the drill.
