• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How do you ladies carry all of your stuff?

I have spyder pockets on the lid of my frunk and they work great. Love them. I have quite a bit of stuff tucked into mine. Only fits smaller items.

    Jim Potts Motor Group Feedback

How big of an impact the laser alignment will have is really dependent on how far off it is and how hard you ride to begin with. I ride hard but mine wasn't far off. I felt the impact but my hubby really felt it on his much more. His was further off and even though he doesn't ride quite as...

Belt Clip Purse This is what I use, fits my cell phone, ID, credit card, chapstick and a little bit of money. Everything else goes in my big purse in the frunk.

    What Do You Wear?

Full mesh gear, mesh pants with shorts under, mesh jacket with a tank top under, riding boots, mesh gloves and my helmet of course. And since my skin is so freakin fair I wear sunblock on my neck, face and arms.

    Great start to the season!

My husband and I did a run from the Chicago burbs into Upper Peninsula last fall. So beautiful. The Munising area is just gorgeous. Absolutely worth it event though we got rained out for one afternoon. Many years ago we did a trip around in the car with our son. Would really love to be able...

    Pants/over pants

I have a pair of Roadgear AirTech pants. However I can't recommend them 100% as mine had to have major fixing done to them at the seams. Fortunately my mother-in-law is very good around a sewing machine and they weren't too expensive. http://roadgear.com/airtec-mesh-pants-closeout-p-127.html

    Pants/over pants

I wear shorts under my completely mesh over pants in the summer. In fall and spring I wear regular riding pants over shorts or leggings/stretch pants depending on how warm it is. You can ask anyone who rides with me in the summer. If we stop for any length of time the over pants come off. I...

    Highway pegs seem uncomfortable

Holding your feet up but not really relaxing the leg/hip all the way isn't going to give you the same feeling as an actual highway peg. I would try sitting on someone's spyder who has a set of pegs to see. There will be plenty of them around at spyderfest.

    Plasti-Dip Your Byke

So has anyone tried plasti-dip on their byke? I'm considering giving mine a nice blue paint job but I'd like to know it's at least going to look okay and hold up for the season.

    Sway Bar and shocks question

I have an '09 GS and we did shocks from a 2011 RT first and then later added the sway bar. I think mine needed both : ) I'm not sure if an RSS with the already better shocks would benefit as much from the shocks, but the sway bar is awesome.
