• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Yes, my trike is a 2023 RTL, his offer is for the 2026 RTL. It was a whim really, I am happy with my current Spyder, I bought it outright, so no payments. £7,000 will buy a lot of fuel (even at the prices now) and a lot of add-ons, if wanted.

    I currently own a 2023 Spyder RTL with 12,600 miles on it. I contacted a dealer around 90 miles away and he offered me £26,000 for my trike and £7,000 to change. Any thoughts (I parted with £29,000 for this trike)?

    Service Shock - just about had a heart attack at the bill!

    The reason I bought the Big blue lift when I bought my Spyder was I dont think I can have all these alternatives and work on a machine I knew nothing about. It allows me to carry out jobs without having to mess about with jacks and other lifts that would never be enough for the jobs in hand

    Totally agree. I was at the start (2 yrs ago) an eco user, I still use it in traffic or on bad narrow roads which we have a lot of, but the power available in normal mode is amazing. The guy we have ridden on 2 wheels with for 30 years cannot believe how fast the Spyder can go out of corners...

    How did you mount the dash? My front camera is the same, but I mounted the rear camera centrally on the angled part of the top box above the BRP logo, as I will never need to remove it completely.

    Buy one and ride it, enjoy it, and revel in the fact that you can do it. Here in Dumfriesshire we have the worst road surfaces in Scotland, but we have managed 11,500 miles in under 2yrs. Get one!

    After waiting a few weeks, the front discs for my Spyder arrived at the dealers. Mileage is 10,783, replaced both discs, and new pads fitted both sides no cost to me. The brakes now feel right and when I asked if it was the way I ride they said the materials were crap

    I also had some shaking with hard braking and at the first service it was the service guy who told me the rotors were warped and they replaced them( last year in June ). Last week when I took it in for second service I said the left hand wheel was juddering when braking ( same as the first time...

    the discs are warped again so the pads will have to be replaced

    Had my second service on Wednesday and like the first service the front discs and pads will have to be replaced under warranty and they will no doubt fit the same sub standard discs as the last time
