• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

Yeah, it sucks. At first they didn’t even want to acknowledge me and my issues. I was like, wait a minute I spent a lot of money to only receive a defective product right out of the gate! Their customer service needs some work.

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

Update: My Spyder is still at the dealer (since 11/15). The coolant leak requires a new cylinder head so that is on order and they are replacing the oil rings on the HCU cover. Hopefully this fixes the oil and coolant leaks. It’s been a tough first 100 miles. BRP has agreed to some type of...

Please tell me what Battery Heated vests you recommend?

Costco has one on sale for $99. I might pick it up and give it a try.

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

Yeah, makes me think I got a bad one, we'll see. BRP's customer service is lacking. All they tell me over and over is to contact my dealer. I opened a case with them so they understand my "new" machine has issues and I've been without it for almost a month. They don't seem to care. If it...

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

UPDATE from the dealer: The oil leak is coming from the transmission filter. Sounds easy enough to replace/fix. They also found a coolant leak. It's "weeping from a port". I think normally this would be indicative of a bad water pump but since the machine is new they are not sure. They...

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

Riding weather can be subjective but since it's going into the 40's here for the foreseeable future it's fine with me.

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

I dropped it off at the dealer this morning. Should know the root cause in about two weeks.

New Spyder sold with no factory warranty - is this right? What say you all?

I recently rode a demo and a new model. I specifically asked when the warranty started on the Demo unit and was told it starts the day it's purchased by the retail customer.

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

Okay, I'll check this tomorrow. I would love that to be the issue.

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

I put it up on ramps and couldn't see an obvious source. I'm taking it back to the dealer on Friday. To me it looks like it's coming from the engine case seam but I really hope not. Their Spyder tech is booked for a few weeks so it's going to be a while. Ugh. It's better to find this problem...

Well, the Spyder experience is not starting out well. Oil leak at 100 miles.

What is this piece of material on my new '24 S2S?

Does anyone know what this is (piece of material around shock)? Is it something I keep or was it forgotten during setup and supposed to be removed?

Is there any way to keep the windshield up instead of raising it each ride?

Hi, New '24 STS owner. I checked the user's manual but didn't see anything on this. Is there a way to just keep the windshield up all the time instead of having to raise it each time you go for a ride?

Pulled the trigger on a new '24 Sea to Sky (my first Spyder).

Thanks, I asked them to have the updated s/w installed, we'll see. I'll ask about the panel that replaces the top case.
