• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Battery tender hookup

I have a 2017 RTL. Can I use a battery tender by connecting it to the outlet in the trunk. I realize I will need to switch the fuse from position number 6 to number 7. Thanks for any help.

Garmin Zumo 590 LM vs 595LM

I recently had my Garmin Zumo 590LM stolen off of my CanAm Spyder RTL 2017. My insurance will cover the cost of a new unit. I am having a difficult time finding a new unit. Does anyone know if the 590LM can be replaced with the 595LM without having to rewire the bike? Thanks in advance for your...

    REAR TRUNK BAGS

Thanks for all te comments. I had the hard bags from BRP but the handles keep breaking. I have replaced the saddle bags with the two Hopnel bags. One hold our rain suits very well. Maybe I can convince Santa to bring the rear bags.

    REAR TRUNK BAGS

Is anyone familiar with the Hopnel Saddlebag and Trunk Liners for the Can Am Spyder RT. The all new 1100 Trunk Liner set is actually 2 bags stacked, to take advantage of the deep rear Spyder RT Trunk. The lower liner is great for storing on the bike maintenance items in its handy 10 ¾” x 7 ¼” x...

New shocks or An-awy bar WE recently rode in the Texas hills and I found the front end loose on some of the more challenging curves. My 2017 RTL does not have adjustable shocks. In order to stiffen the front end should I replace the shocks with Elka stage 2 or Bajaron's anti-sway bar. Most of...

Switching Sena 10R from one helmet to next.

After five and half years we have replaced our helmets with the new HJC IS Max II. However now comes the time to switch our Sena 10R's from old to new. We are looking for suggestions as to the best way to unstick the Sena's from the old lid. Suggestions welcomed.

    CanAm's Learn To Ride Course?

CanAm course I took the course in April 2018. I have already put over 30,000 miles on a Spyder. I still found the course informative and worthwhile for the $75.

    RT Armrests--In hand!

Can Am RT armrests I'm considering purchasing these CanAm armrests. Did you install them yourself and how difficult was it?

    Well I did it....

Traded my 2012 RTL for a 2017 RTL. On the 2012 the reccomended shift at about 5000 rpm. What is the concensus for shifting the 1330 2017? Thanks for all suggestions. ValleyRyder
