• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Thanks Mike, I just assumed cause my other 5 bike run off the front wheel. Why shouldn't the Spider? It has the same factory tire on back. I was kinda going by a chart that was handy, showing these tires would run a different speed than the 165/55/15 that were on.

    I just put 165/60/15 Continentals on the front of my 2015 Spider RT. I loosened the 4 fender bolts taking 3 of them out to lift the fender to put the wheel/tire on. They fit fine with good clearance once the wheel was in place. I may have been able to put the tire on without removing the fender...

    You guys are killing me. I haven't been on bicycle in 60 yrs. And we used 30wt. used truck engine oil then. I used to ride 5 miles one way to the city swimming pool on a old 2 lane road. I havent used a motorcycle with chain ever since I found out BMW used shaft drive in 1923 & still do.

    I would look for a automotive strut. One that holds up a hood or rear door. Should be strong enough. Found at a good auto parts store.

    What's the best TPMS to use on a 2021 Spyder?

    I guess I dont understand. Is it really that hard to check the air pressure with a gauge once in a while? For those of us that have 6 motorcycles & 5 cars would go broke putting these on every vehicle. Or is it just the Can Am that are important? Just asking, "inquiring minds want to know".

    Not sure how long the Spider batteries last but mine says Yuasas 03/2015. Thats the yr of the bike. Its had a battery tender on it most of its life Im thinkin. Anything I should know or look at before ripping that thing out? Seems like a good AGM battery would be best?
