• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Opinions of comfort seat

I decided to go with the ultimate seat, and ordered it a couple of days ago. Should be here Monday. With the help of my brother in law, we put RT bars on a week ago. WOW!! What a difference. Thank you Spydey Girl.

How many keys do you get?

I bought a 2015 RSS from a dealer about a month and a half ago. I only got one key, and no metal tag with info to make another one. Is this normal? Seems there should be 2 keys or something with numbers to get another one made. Thanks everyone.

    Opinions of comfort seat

Thank you both for the input, and thanks so much for the pictures. I do think the difference is that it sits a person up instead of leaning forward. I have just ordered handlebars from a RT, so maybe that would solve the problem.

    Opinions of comfort seat

Budget wise I would really like to go with the comfort seat, but I am really concerned about leaning forward with those, as I am really short. I think that leaves me with the ultimate seat.

    Opinions of comfort seat

I can relate to that. My butt never quite got use to the motorcycle seat either. I have the handlebars and seat left to change on the Spyder, and I should be good to go. I am so looking forward to getting both changes done. Thank you for you input.

    Opinions of comfort seat

I realize seat comfort will be different for everyone. I am debating between a comfort seat and ultimate, however, I have read on a few posts that a comfort seat will move a person back a couple of inches. Is this true? I have short arms, and really don't want to sit back any further. Thank you.

Difficulty level of switching RT or ST handlebars on 2015 RSS

This is kind of a continuation of my earlier post, but I wanted to start a new thread. Thanks to some good advice, I now know that replacing the handlebars on my 2015 RSS with either the RT or ST handlebars is the way I would prefer to go. Does anyone know how difficult this is, and are there...

    Passenger backrest mods.

I purchased one on ebay for $216 from Sirius Consolidated out of Canada. It doesn't look as nice as the BRP's, but it does the job, and it is considerably cheaper. You can purchase a luggage rack with it also. I had no issues with the seller. Maybe with the ultimate seat this one will not work...

    Handlebar risers for 2015 RSS

Thank you. I will check it out. Does anyone know if those will work, or is it basically trial and error? I know the accessories are usually pretty pricey.

    Handlebar risers for 2015 RSS

Hi, I am new to the site, and have already read many very interesting topics and modifications. I purchased my 1st Spyder about a month ago. So far I am loving it, but have determined that in order to thoroughly enjoy the ride, I am going to have to do more modifications. I have already...
