• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Burning my legs

(yes it still smokes - different topic) This thing burns my legs.. I put the blocking kit on the RHS and it is a bit better, but it's also burning my left leg. The panel gets so hot I can't touch it. I had the exhaust wrapped today and within ten minutes on the ride home i had a sore leg...

    RS-S smoky

Sorry about the delay, haven't been near it. Here's a video from yesterday.. Sorry about the quality. i spoke to the dealer today and he said it's normal and it needs to go out for a long ride.. I don't agree..

We are developing a new windshield for the RS

I'm interested too. The standard is too low and the touring one I've seen is too high, I'd like a tint somewhere in the middle. Post to Australia?

    RS-S smoky

Hiya, when I haven't started my 2013 RS-S for a few days when it starts it blows a lot of smoke, is that normal? It only started doing it after the first service.

    Fox Vs Elka ??

I had no money to do it properly back then, but in my z1000 is a zx6 shock that has been revalved, different spring, and in the front the bike has a dummy fork, so he redid that with internals to match the other side after they were revalved to suit me. The bike is absolutely perfect. This bloke...

    Fox Vs Elka ??

My guy in Brisbane, Australia :) He loves Wilbers, I haven't used them before but they are available for the spyder :) He's not just trying to sell them to me, I didn't have them put in my bikes that he redid and they are great :)

Has anyone put a 12v outlet on a RS-S and if so how and where? :)

    Fox Vs Elka ??

I have the '13 RS-S which has the fox shocks, and I took it down to my suspension guru yesterday (he's done wonders with my last two road bikes) and he basically said the fox are not a good quality shock.

Ladies (or men) on two-wheelers, some help?

Hiya, sorry to hear about your health problems :( I have a 2006 Z1000 which weighs about 220kg, and I also have a 2012 rss. They're totally different machines, you dont ride the spyder like a bike, and it can be hard to 'unbike' it. Mine is twitchy, hoping to have that sorted by a wheel...

    Another disappointing model year

I'm with the original poster in all but one respect, I like the blue 2015 RS-S color :) No offence to the RT riders, but they're too 'grandpa' for me, I like the riding position of the RS-S (I am over 40 btw :D ) I would never buy a F3, not a cruiser person whatsoever, no way would I have a...

Not a Trike, Not a Bike: What is the 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3?

I absolutely loathe people calling my spyder a trike. To me a trike is a ugly harley looking thing, two wheels at the back and a car engine in the back most of the time. Can't stand them. When people ask me what my RS-S is, I tell them it's my jet ski on wheels :)

    another laser alignment thread

I think you've misunderstood me :) Question about the wheel alignment is did it make a huge difference to the steering of the bike without a swaybar vs having it done after having a swaybar fitted.. My bike is really twitchy, loves to drastically change direction when it hits a bump. I've been...

    another laser alignment thread

I'm planning on getting this done as the bike is twitchy. To the people who had it done do you have a swaybar or not? And if not, was the difference still huge?

To wear a helmet or not

In Australia, helmets are compulsory. I used to work in a motorbike shop and the amount of helmets I've seen that were damaged, and the amount of people who thanked them for saving their life was huge. One guy in particular, he got hit by a truck, and the truck ran over his head. He was one...
