• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CONSENSUS HERE WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

If the dealer will deliver it at a small or zero charge, I would do it. That's how I got mine from the dealer (70 miles away) and I'm glad I did. Coming from several years on 2-wheels, the body/brain will try to "balance" the Spyder for the first few miles. This can be a very disconcerting...

    The Morning Thread

Sunny and -6 here...:yikes: before you factor in the wind chill which is in the 20s below. Good day to stay inside and busy with indoor hobbies. I'm not sure you could bring enough clothing and "warmers" to sit in the stands of that Viking game. Yet, many people will try. Think I'd rather...

    Sick of winter already

Winter is... ...what it is, here in the Midwest. :gaah: My tolerance level grows shorter and shorter with each year of my age, especially now with a Spyder in the garage, with only 550 miles on it from last year (got it real late).:( Nevertheless, Winter must be dealt with, so if you are...

    Spyder 2015 f3s se6

Welcome to the forum, and the world of :spyder2: ryders. Coming from the 2-wheel environment, myself, I had some "unlearning" to do too. But it's part of the fun, and really doesn't take that long to get acclimated to 3 wheels. Just don't push too hard at first, but keep pressing a little more...

New 2015 Spyder now last year's model

Happy New Year Well, yes... in a few more hours mine will be last year's model. :yikes: Nevertheless, I got a bunch more miles to put on it, once the cold and snow is outta here. :doorag: Cheers everyone... and let's hope 2016 is filled with :spyder2: miles and smiles. :ohyea:

F3 owners, who can tell me...

If I recall correctly, I had to pay an extra $20 (maybe 30) for a different brake rod. The pedal stays the same. My handlebar position was Standard, so there was no change there. If I didn't have the automatic transmission, I expect I would have had to pay for a gearshift rod as well...

Blue Ridge Windshield For Sale On The Cheap!!

At 5' 8", you will probably get along just fine with the BR. I'm 5' 10", and there is just a hint of the wind that is coming from my BR, and that is at the very top of my FF helmet. Nothing severe at all. :doorag:

Hi all", I am new to the Spyder

Welcome fellow ryder... you have lots of miles and smiles ahead of you. :doorag: Ride often and ride safe.

    F3 Riders Question

Have not ridden two-up on my 2015 F3S yet, and probably won't be doing a lot of that. However, for just me riding it, I would not hesitate to do any amount of touring, highway miles or twisties that I felt like doing. I certainly would not label it as a machine that is strictly for short runs...

    SOOO MADDDDDD!

Is the screw magnetic? If so, any chance a small magnet on a string could reach it? :dontknow: (guess the post above me came in while I was writing mine...)

    The Morning Thread

Morn'n all. :coffee: A scant 12 deg. above (0) here. Headed for a high of only 34 today. However, the next few days are to be much better again with highs in the 40s. And.... we have a really good chance of having a "brown" Christmas. I'll bet the snowmobile sales are down this year. ;)

Loving the longer riding season in CT

Actually, this trend of a warmer than normal Winter is to continue right through March. Well, that is for about the upper 2/3 of the country - where normally we are in the snow, ice and deep freeze about now. Bring it on... I can handle all this above normal stuff they got.

    Spyder's cousin?

Looks a lot like that new Honda (hybrid) "concept" bike, only with a cage around it. I'll stay with my :spyder2:... thank you.

    Road a new F3 yesterday.

I came from the Harley arena as well. When the nearby dealer sweetened the pot a little (this past Oct.) on his 2015 F3s, I took a test ride:yes:... and the rest, as they say, is history. After your test ride, you might be surprised at what sort of excuses you can come up with; to make your...

Hoping everyone is taking advantage of this mild December

Some lowland flooding... We just had about two days of solid rain... not real heavy thunder-boomer rain, but constant light rain and fog. Now a couple of the major waterways are out of their banks and causing some lowland flooding. Next we get a few days of normal temps with highs only in the...
