• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Instrument/Gauge Lens Issue

I thought my eyes were seeing things...my 2015 RT has the same issue. Its not severe, but I am a detail freak and would like it fixed. The bike cost me a lot of money, so I don't think its too much to ask.

    Considering my first RT

The smoother ride adjustable shock is a great feature. The luggage and floorboards are neat as well. Plus resale value may be higher on a Limited trim level than a low-end model. And some people..."go first-class all the way!"

    why ride a spyder

I ride a spyder for its smooth ride, push-button shifting, stability, and cool look. A regular trike (to me) looks old fashioned and clumsy.

A question on the air adjustable shock

And how much did those parts cost, including installation, to your already costly bike?

How can I get out of Eco mode?

I tried the eco mode once...didn't like it. Now if it shut the engine off at red lights like my Lexus...

A question on the air adjustable shock

My 1 month old RT SS (3100 miles!) has the adjustable spring set to the softest setting. Since its been raining here I cannot try this currently, but when a firmer setting is selected-like the top two firmnesses-does the handling improve as well? Can I take corners faster with less lean? Just...

    The spyder getting the looks!!

Its funny but when I had my 2014 matte yellow/black RS-S, I got just a few comments/questions/thumbs-up. But with my new 2015 RT SS, in a more sedate black over ruby red, I get more looks/comments/questions than the bright yellow bike. Go figure. Maybe because the RT has such a massive...

    Radio

Nothing plugs into my helmet. Bose earbuds in the ear, and that cord is plugged into my phone, which is in my pocket. My phone has an app for music.

    Excessive heat

On my 2015 RT, I keep my phone in the small compartment directly in front of the seat, and that compartment, and its contents (phone, energy bar, wallet) do get hot. I hope nothing is wrong, but I don't feel excessive heat pouring out of any vents.

    Radio

When I use my Schuberth C3 helmet, I can fit my Bose noise-cancelling earbuds in the ear before I put the helmet on. I then stream very good sound quality music from my phone. Its wonderful. I also just bought a new-to-the-market Quiet Ride helmet with inner pumpup earmuffs to squelch wind...

    Maintenance Schedule

I'm thrilled with the extended maintenance schedules vs. my RSS, but its still not as carefree as my Zero SR.

    New RT Rider

I too was thinking of riding up to Lake George with my new RT (traded in a 2014 RSS) but wondered if there is still room?

    The thrill is gone...

along with my 2014 Spyder RSS, replaced it with a 2015 RT SS at an attractive discount. I got the black over ruby with red contrast stitching. Its beautiful. BUT I miss that 2 cylinder sound, and the rev-matched downshifts! My RT sounds like an old Chevy Vega by comparison. I picked it up last...

    annybody switching for the f3

I like the fact that the F3 has the more efficient engine with less maintainence, but my RSS only has 1000 miles (in 5 weeks) so I am in no hurry to change. Plus, I have yet to even see an F3 in person, but I'll tell you this- I really dig the RSS agressively svelte look. Acceleration and...

    My first 600 miles on a 2014 RS-S

I'm taking my matte yellow RS-S in for its first service in a few days and would like to express my thoughts on the Can-Am Spyder. The bike seems to have more vibration than I had thought it should. Sometimes through the handlebars, sometimes through the foot pegs, sometimes through the seat. I...
