• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BLUEKNIGHT911 - Diagnosed June, Passed away due to cancer 23 Oct 2024 - RIP

I first met Mike at Spyderfest 2015 in Missouri. He led a ride to Arkansas (on the road that ends at a man-made lake and you need to take a free ferry across to continue; I don't remember the name of the road or lake.) He was a spirited rider (to say the least) but I managed to keep up with him...

How do I put my 2022 F3-Ltd Special into Sport Mode?

Another dealer that either doesn't know the product or will say anything to make a sale. :banghead:

Anyone installed this Motorcycle Car Play Unit or similar on 2020+ RT or F3?

It will also mean GM no longer needs to share any proprietary vehicle data with Apple or Google. It's a win-win (for GM at least.)

What's the BEST battery for a 2020 RT Ltd?

The OEM battery is a Yuasa and they're generally recommended as a very good battery; you can get them with the acid already added or "dry" with a separate container of acid. Some people use aftermarket batteries; Lamonster Garage sells both OEM and aftermarket.

F3 Foot Peg Bracket - are the holes threaded, or just the brass plate?

Even with plenty of heat they are stupid easy to strip. Don't ask me how I know ;)

A New way of selecting Reverse on the 2024's......

It strikes me that they took something that was relatively simple and made it needlessly more complicated

DESS - what does it do exactly

Disabling DESS requires BUDS with a "Megatech" license. It's a higher license level than most dealers have which is why dealers cannot disable DESS. Plus, for liability reasons, even if they could they wouldn't.

    Review: BRP Go! is going...going...GONE!!

If BRP opened the protocol's and API's needed to communicate with the bike I'm sure independent developers could do a much better job. But of course BRP won't do that cause it makes too much sense.

Motorcycle Dave here with a Drivers License question

When I moved from New Jersey to New York the M3 endorsement on my NJ license was changed to just an M endorsement in NY. No test of any kind required.

Spyderquest 2023 scheduled for September 6-10, in Queensbury NY.

This year is our 10th anniversary (we pretend 2020 didn't exist) and we're expecting our largest crowd yet. Hotel space is becoming a challenge but we're still looking for additional blocks of rooms. Registration should open early this year, early to mid April instead of May 1st as in the past.
