• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    P0340 Replacing camshaft Position Sensor

In my case, the P0340 fault did not affect the engine rpm or 70 MPH speed while driving on the freeway. So I drove the spyder to the dealer and had it replaced. Third party extended warranty paid for the repair.

    F3 total failure

P0562 - System Voltage Low. Steps you can do is to check for blown fuse, load test the battery, check voltage output of voltage regulator (13 - 14.7 volts), check connection on the voltage regulator, check for corrosion and loose connection to the battery posts and the same for the ground...

    Limp Mode Home

Had the same problem with my 2017 F3S-SE6 at 7,097 miles. Bike parked in the garage for one week waiting for my appointment with the dealer. Two days before my appointment, I took the bike for a run to see if it was drivable up to 70 MPH. No issues with the RPM or MPH. Got home and noticed the...

    HowTo: Photo orientation issue

Android phone and Windows 10 users: My procedure is to import the picture into the computer. Then I make a copy of the picture in case I "oops". Next, I right click on the picture and select "edit", NOT edit w/Photos or Paint 3D. I then "resize" the picture for a "Horizontal Pixels" of 600 and a...

    Totally confused

When this no-start problem happened to me during my 2-wheel riding days, it was always corrosion on the battery terminals and corrosion on the chassis ground point. Next time it happens, I plan to connect the negative terminal to a different ground point and see if it starts.

    RAM X-Grip

I use the X-Grip to hold my smartphone even though the side-to-side movement irritated me. So I found a product at Home Depot that would dampen the side-to-side movement - Velcro coin #90362, black, 1-7/8" diameter. I cleaned the contact areas on the X-Grip and smartphone (Samsung S8). Then I...

    Bajaron Swaybar

I measured the diameter of both sway bars. For the OEM version, it is 14mm; Baja Ron's is 16mm.

    Deflector Removal Problem

The Baja Ron instructions said to remove them. Once removed I had planned to clean them up and paint them, which I did. I agree with you on "lifting the spyder high enough". The two pics are my version on lifting the spyder for an oil change and for the sway bar replacement.

    Deflector Removal Problem

I found out what I did wrong after looking at the parts list - I missed removing one torx screw. This screw was hidden from view because it was not visible like the other three torx screws unless I was looking directly down at it. Once I removed that screw, the "clam shell assembly separated...

    Deflector Removal Problem

Push pin removed and I was able to slide it aft and rotate it out of the way. Still not able to separate the deflector part from the shell part of the clam shell assembly.

    Deflector Removal Problem

I ran into a problem while installing the Baja Ron sway bar on my 2017 F3S. I removed the torx and phillips screws on the two "clam shell assemblies" but they won't come apart. Something else is still keeping them together. Any help is appreciated.

    Fuel octane explained.

Same here. I usually refuel when the gas gauge indicates 1/4 full. I alternate between mid grade or premium, if I can remember what I put in the last time.

HowTo: Replace tail light assembly on a f3-

I just recently removed and reinstalled my rear fender. The first step is to remove the license plate to access the electrical plug cover. Disconnect the electrical plug and separate the cable from the rear fender support. Everything else is easy but be careful when removing the rear fender...

    M10 Torque Spec.?

Please, I need to know what the torque specification is for the Allen bolts that secure the rear fender support. I have a 2017 F3S-SE that I took the rear fender apart for a wash, wax and paint job. The marking on the bolts is "A2-70 THE". An internet search produced 37 ft-lbs (dry) / 28 ft-lbs...
