• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A friend of mine was in a serious motorcycle accident yesterday.

I have a sneaking suspicion the medical corporations and pharmaceutical companies would raise our rates regardless. A very unfortunate accident. I sincerely hope they recover.

    Night Riding

BINGO... I work nights and ride in daily. I never look at the tach and seldom look at the speed. I dont think I ever used the horn before and probably never will. Turn signal is easy... Just a small stretch of the thumb. High beam is occasionally used and its location is memorized...

    Heat all day

No. Sunlight doesn't cause a malfunction. Increased temperature 90s and up can... Welcome to the club. Various forums are littered with complaints about heat issues.

    Do I have a Problem?

I cant offer any solid explanation, but I can share similiar unexplained phenomena. Pushed really hard.. 8500 rpms and up.. Heavy corners etc, my oil light flickers. Last time I had an error like yours i deduced that the fuses may get loose. I found some foam and placed in on top and...

Any interest in a Northern California Ride???

I'm in Modesto. A few riders here that I know of (3-4), plus some passersby riders I see from a distance. Not alot of folks based on population, even less due to the Can Am dealer closing in Modesto. We are here though... RECLUSE is in Tracy I think.. Steve

    Spyder 2008

I have a 2008 production year (August) GS and perform my own maintenance. I have not heard of anything this extreme to date. Brake failures have occurred in others with low brake fluid, accidentally riding the pedal, partially engaging E-Brake, amongst other mechanical issues. We would...

    Oil Usage

Can't prove this, but I've seen a few filling oil level to max instead of midline and that appears to push that extra oil to the airbox. Owner responds by refilling to maximum only to find more oil in airbox and oil level below max. I target the center of the dipstick between min and max...
